I agree 5c, it is hard to find someone who will give a good hair cut. Mine is baby fine and super curly so if you cut a ha;f inch off, it looks like 2 inches by the time it dries...and it wraps around the stylist's fingers like a snake when it's wet

My amusement was not done for the day, as the mail carrier ran twice today trying to get caught up on the Christmas backlog. The afternoon brought me a letter from AH. Inside was his court Appearance form for the divorce, filled out and signed, along with a letter asking me to make a copy for myself and to mail the original to the clerk's office for him. At least I know he is responding, not contesting, and took it in a civil and friendly manner. Copies made, original already sealed, stamped and ready for the mail :)

Fran, I know the Christmas season was bittersweet for your family this year, enjoy your son, and the rest of your get together in Jan.

That's great news Bov....It's definitely in AH's best interest to comply and not fight it....A hard head makes for a soft azz....**Dixie proverb**

5 though I believe the old I30 was fine my rig is the I30S...Looks like a silencer inside the tank with no visible wick...I ain't jinxing this coil but it's been on there a while now and all is great...Running at 3.8V....The razor cut used to be the way to go....Trendy and from another day I believe though...Even saw that Jose` Ebear guy burning hair on the tv once....I need a cut myself but haven't called in yet...

I wished you lived closer too. My hair is the hardest to mess up but like Bo's hair if you cut an inch it looks like they scalped you. It doesn't look bad but it's just not the way I ask her to do it. My biggest hate is why can't they just say I can't do that instead of lying to you just to cut your hair. Are barbers that bad off?

Looks like A&E is doing a backflip on ole Phil Robertson. They got too much heat from the fans. I see Jessie Jackson using it to try to get himself a little attention. Doesn't Jessie Jackson realize no one gives a hoot about what he thinks?

I got one of the INNOKIN 30s LD. The only I30S they had were 1.5 ohms and I don't do LR. It's just not as good IMO.
My evod has the same set of wick and coils in it that I put in 2 mo. ago and still working great. I'm beginning to think it's never going to quit.
I went 5 or 6 months and it was down to my shoulder blades so it couldn't be put off any longer. I'm just going to have to go to a stylist next time. They still use scissors and razors instead of weedeaters that the barbers use. I'm thinking of getting a set of shears an opening up a shop. From what I've seen lately that's all you need to do a GI cut. That's where the term red neck came from.

Evening Fran :)

5, I bet your hair looks good grown long...you should take a pic before you get it cut!

Dee, he doesn't know that I could latch on to the house and money...I was saving that for a "just in case" scenario. In all honesty, I wouldn't do it, as I don't believe my in laws worked their asses off all their lives just for me to snatch it away from their son. But the threat of doing so would line him up to my point of view.

Here's a question for those of you who keep up with the latest, greatest in APVs. What's up with everyone going back to mech mods? Are they fixed voltage? Is that what folks are using for sub ohm vaping? I really should have kept up with the trend

Bov mechs are a needed for low Ω rebuildables. The lowest vv/vw that I know of is .6Ω. Most sub Ω are running .8 down to .25Ω and run with 2-4 coils. And before you freak out, I've vaped .3Ω and it wasn't as hot as the 1.8Ω attys I used to use. Also RBA/RDA's are not as hot as attys/cartos. I used to vape at 8-9.5w and now I'm vaping 111.5-14.5w depending on the build I make.

5er I've always found Mechs much more tempramental than VV's which either work or don't. But Mechs are finicky becouse they half work a lot and you constantly have to clean and fiddle with.

5er I think you go to a Barber to get sheared. I've haven't been Barbered in 35 years. You need to find a stylist to take care of your coif !!!

I agree Wharf and in my younger days that's what I did. Looks like I'm going back to that. I thought I had gone back to that at this last place but at least it isn't too bad. I will be looking though.

I wonder if the Stylistics are still around.

Yeah Bov it's a sub-ohm thing...Most variables have a low ohm limit...BPs were known to be more favorable to lower ohms but still not into the sub area....A mechanical is sending the volts no matter the ohms..Couple a mechanical with say an Igo W re-buildable and you can get unmatched vapor production at sub-ohms...Plus in the event of a ban....There's nothing to fail that can't be repaired in the field...but really it's all about the clouds and they do spew....I always get this wrong but it's either EM or EH Pro....the pro I'm positive of...They have some really nice stuff for clones....silver or gold plated contacts and the floating pin in the 510 is NICE!!! I'm debating one and hating the day I sent my GGTS too Florida...The GG had brass and aluminum only though and a regular polishing was required...It would pop a $7 atty in less than a day....

The Kayfun I've been trolling is more compatible with vv/vw and runs best at ++1.0 ohms...Supposedly the best flavor available....Maybe I should throw down on one so the newest, latest and greatest can make an appearance ????????? In all honesty the I30S, I 16 and Aspire are all in reach and performing very well....Not missing those cartos at all...

4.0 Ford engines are known to leak from the rear of the intake manifold....Car Quest price before discount for r the required gaskets $140...@ $100 w/discount....not sure as my guy is off until the 2nd...Rock Auto for the exact same kit $68...Guessing that's a no-brainer....I've tweeked this and that and my little low cost 4X4 Ranger is almost 100%...I get compliments and offers to buy nearly daily...Hey we got roads that need burning and it wouldn't be the deal of the day....There is also a Panamanian fellow new in my hood...he purchased the local inconvenience store and like Wharf loves the 9ers...I give him hell and he gladly returns it...He drives a lifted Ford and didn't give my Ranger a second look....then he saw my Dodge and begged to buy it...I hit him at 22K and it's a "00...Hey he says to much but still I'd lose a fair amount...I told him it wasn't for sale....Like my dad's 79 Bronco...Six figures won't budge it...Hopefully the intake won't be a beech and then all that's left is some window tint, maybe a stereo and one of those Evel One spesshully applied paint jobs...When it warms up of course...

LD I've run a Kayfun Lite exclusively since July. I call it the Starbucks of RBA's. Very consistent and very good but can't reach the awesome of a genny running at top notch. But as you know, that doesn't happen enough and the rest of the time you're fiddling. No leaking on the FKL and I use the micro with cotton yarn (as good as balls IMO but no hassle). I change the cotton anywhere from 2 to 7 days. Pull out the cotton, dry-burn the coil and thread a new piece of yarn..... AND Vape :)

I haven't bought anything else since (well I did buy a 2nd one :)). I've eyed other like the Aqua wick is really good but fiddlie I do have an eye on the KF Mini but that will have to wait.

Afternoon all! Thank you for the very detailed explanation Wharf and Dee, it does help me understand why the mechs are selling like crazy while there has been little advance in the VV/VW arena in the last 6 months or so, except for the DNA 20, and if there is a DNA 30 on the horizon.

I have no plans to invest (meaning no budget lol) and unless I'm forced, no plans or patience for fiddling. I'm still plenty happy with my Buzzes, and even with 3.5 years into vaping I still don't own any other APVs! The Chuck and Missy's wet box are still in my "shouldn't have wasted my money" drawer and I haven't gotten any other devices other than Notcigs since my first original Buzz. The only thing that is on my wish list is a nice pipe and there is a thread I've been following of a gent who is building some beautiful ones. Check out the picks near the last page of the thread to see his progress...but will be way beyond my budget.
