Fran, at least if we built a snowman we'd have a little fun out of the snow! None here yet, looks like they've changed our forecast for the snow to come at the end of the week...along with negative temps

I've seen enough rattlesnakes in my day, I don't think I want that sound in my face! Bugs, spiders, scorpions, mice, etc I am fine with, but I'm all girl when it comes to snakes

Mark, if you're reading...I hope you're feeling better.

This is the first day I'm back to fairly healthy. Pretty much 9 full days, from Friday night through yesterday midday, just started to feel kind of decent last night. I didn't do squat in all that time. Hopefully I'll get in a short workout tonight -- it's going to take time to rebuild stamina after over a week of being a slug.

    Mark,

Wow! Sounds like you had a doozey of a bug! I'm sure glad you're feeling better now. Take it easy at first though, you don't want a relapse.

I think I'm just gonna stick with my current set ups, aside from that i30S down the road a bit. I'm just not much of a fiddler and these nails would give me fits trying to wrap coils and such. But if ever there was a need, you bet I'd learn how and fast!!! I know just the fellas to call on too!!! All my buds right here. :) I know they'd be happy to hook a sista up! :D

Just returned from getting a few fish for our tanks with Miss Madison....a few Pink Kissers for community tank and a couple of electric yellow African Cichlids. No matter my age, I will never tire of this hobby!

Mark good too hear you're on the mend...A friend who also runs a body shop called for a couple of old Nissan truck fenders and a hood I'd been holding forever...I'd purchased one of the same type years back and a clone was $205 at that time...Usually a clone is @40/60..I'd snagged this stuff on the cheap and the same fender is now 225...I was more than happy too throw in a hood for free....and a little fender discount as well!! I noticed my friend hacking and hekk yeah....."All my people have had the flu....I was hoping to avoid it but I'm starting too feel terrible".....I got my fingers crossed and was doing the mouth/lung/sinus mega vapor deal when I left there....hoping the pg killed the bug...Came straight home and put a bottle of my state surplus purchased super strong hand sanitizer in the truck...He wouldn't have any fenders if he'd made mention of his condition.........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks KG..I read what those cats were throwing around last evening...I was more than happy to see the Pro wasn't on their list and suspect the Buzz Pro to be pretty clean running as well....

We got a tracking # for the KFL+ and Pro ring....Now if I don't catch that flu.....I'll be by the mailbox iffin' ya'll need me...

Mark, I'm so glad you're finally feeling better! Mama Hen worries about every one of you when you don't check in :) I know your DW will make you take it easy as you build yourself back up.

Tracy, the fish sound cool. My step sister used to keep several aquariums and it was always a pretty sight.

Dee, hopefully you didn't get too many germs coughed your way. I read all the pros and cons about getting the flu shot, but I have been getting mine every year for the last few years. The older I get, the harder it is to shake it off when I get sick.

Fran, I bet we'd have all kinds of creative ideas for a snowman ;)

As a side note to my previous post....I forgot to mention (must have been interrupted along the way by Madison) that the African Cichlids are NOT in the same tank as the Pink Kissers in the community tank. ;)

Ack ElDee!! Hoping that bug stays away from ya!

As much fun as a snowman can be, I REALLY do not want any more dang snow!! It's pretty bad when I'm saying that already in December! The subzero temps on the way is not for wussies either. Wish I was a bear right about now.....hibernate till Spring! :)

I have to say, I'm really enjoying Mike's H2 tank, prefer it to the B4 -- consistent, warm, vape.

I got 30 minutes in on the exercycle last night, not near my normal speed or duration, but plenty good enough. It'll probably be a week or so to get back to my standard workout, but that's fine.
