Daytime snow advisory canceled here, but we now have a warning for tonight. Looks like lake effect is coming in with the next Arctic blast. Fortunately I cleared the driveway this morning, easier to keep up with it than wait.

Thanks Mark, I checked Crucial, Corsair, PNY at all kinds of places and none were close to the price of the sticks I ordered. Decent reviews, and a quick call to their 800 number confirms that it is the non ECC, un buffered, dual channel compatible I need for my MB. I've always used Corsair, but times are lean

Bo I was lucky on this one, it came with 8 but my other one has 4 I think and it does pretty good. I'm thinking of upgrading it.

This rig was build in 2007 when the striker extreme mb was just hitting the market and at that time 4GB was plenty. Now, with skype, music, and a couple of windows open I hit my cap and freeze up, making me pull up the task manager and close the browser windows.

Mark I've heard nothing but rave reviews on the Tuff Coat...Planning on coating my aluminum boat decks with it soon....Olive drab naturally.............
Helped my Cousin sheet the walls on his one car garage today...45* with a howling wind and it felt like 0*....It even spit snow for a while...45* came from the phone so accuracy is questionable....handling 4X8 sheets of OSB and styrofoam in the wind??? Gotta roll when you can...
Guarding the propane tank for the logs tonight...Usually I can smell it 24 hours or so before rock bottom...No smells yet but the tank is very light and the logs are burning suspiciously....10 too 1 it goes out 5 minutes after I hit the hay....
Wharf....I'm running the Dusty D set up tonight...28 w/11 on a 7/64 @ 2.2 and a full piece of yarn...A bit off at first but a voltage bump and some vaping have it quiet nice now!!!!!!

Snow is done. Sunny and -16 before adding wind chill here. Global warming at its finest.
We got about 6", due for another 6" tomorrow evening of lake effect. No super cold weather, but the chill factor should be at least -20 through Thursday. Wifie is in fire making mode, giving the stove a workout
(I have it set up for a hot burn, great ambience and minimum creosote buildup, though I'll still toss on a cleaner log tonight.)

Oh my goodness Verm, that's cold!!!! Hearing temps like that makes me feel bad for complaining about our 21/18 today, 34/5 tomorrow and the coldest day of the week here is Tuesday which is 16/1*.
