Beautiful Baldwinsville (CNY)
A sultry 19 here, looks like we lucked out and the lake effect is coming in to the north of us (they're getting pounded, blizzard-like conditions). The ride in this morning was reekola, but people were driving reasonably for the near white-out conditions.

I'm getting far better at reading Portuguese than I ever wanted, working on an international activity :) The translation software we have is "interesting", at best, and the docs aren't something we can shovel up to the Google translator on the Internet (which does quite well overall).

Wharf I watched an in depth analysis on the weather the first week of January...Hope you get some rain....but it ain't likely...

Rain...We've had plenty...60* today so I took the opportunity to run the Kubota for a while...Just take it out for a good mid-winter stretch....and not freeze while doing so...I promptly got stuck as I was scooping up some super black, swamp side topsoil...It was in there good...The Dodge popped it right out without even messing up the grass...

Soapbox please....Brining/ salting, sanding the road for winter storms....The salt and sand never were worth a rat's azz so that was OK....This new brine stuff...The little salt lines sprayed down the street....Don't they know that stuff will make my sweet ride rust....WTFH???? Where I live is a transition area....40 miles one way I run into what will eventually be the Great Smokies...35 the other way and it's the Coastal Plain,,,flat/sandy/swampy....Compound the varying terrain with the fact I live near one of the World's oldest rivers...The Cape Fear...In a nutshell it can go from flat and sandy too hilly and rocky in a few feet...It never snows here...2 big snows back we were socked in for a few days...There is one creek bottom here with a 2 mile steep hill on both sides...Straight as an arrow both ways and perfect for sledding...Yeah I got a sled....We gently pack the hill with the 4X4s...usually the top of both hills has a large bonfire rolling...We sledded for a good long while there,,,up until two snows back...Last big snow I headed on over with the 4X4 and sled....We had over a foot of snow....Got to the hill and there was nothing but wet pavement....Brine...

The forecast has changed...I'm now in the 4~8+ area....Anticipation builds...Like I said it don't snow here much.....

Rough night as the sinus drainage/ swollen gland thing kicked in...Tossing and turning with little sleep...Then the phone rings at 8....Mom and the macular Doc again today....She came at me with the rapid fire questions...Long /short the appointment has been rescheduled for Friday...I feel rough but gotta roll....

Storm may begin as freezing rain/sleet....Heading out for propane and gasoline here in a few....Smithfield's BBQ and a gallon of tea is required as well....maybe 2 gallons....

Further into the Trident/Nzonic testing...Dual coiled with yarn at .06 ohms.....Just a short burst on the trigger spews flavorful vapor...It's a bit overwhelming actually....The Kayfun is performing flawlessly as well.....I really need some PG to cut my juice...25% 70/30 cut should yield @8% flavor and 8mg/ml....Trust there has been no chain vaping of the Trident nor Kayfun....Yarn is way more easy to work with and no flavor was lost...undetectable...

I'm taking my rattlesnake ill azz out on the frozen tundra now...Old Man Winter can stick it where the sun don't shine........
