Fran though I've not needed to I'm always ready to drop my PV outta sight...In my opinion it's not a justification of probable cause....but they care little of my opinion and for some "strange" reason always request to search my car when stopped...That's a double, triple NEGATIVE.....

While I'm on the subject....

I live in the geographical center of NC...Sure we got Mexicans but not what I'd call an over abundance...Couple of summers back a "green" plantation was found near here in the woods...Claims of potential profits were huge,,,,Tortillas and some refried beans found at the camp indicated too local LEOs.....Mexican Cartel....Then those silly Cartel boys did the same thing the next year...They were sly though and escaped apprehension...This year local LEOs followed two "suspected" Cartel members to a local trailer park...Upon arriving at their destination the Cartel boys noticed the Law and fled on foot...into a largely wooded sparsely populated area....never to be seen or heard from again....thin air...13+ kilos of Pablo's finest seized....

In October a Raleigh boy comes down to pick up his daughter for his weekend visitation...His daughter and estranged wife were staying with his in-laws...His father in law is a local preacher...The boy encounters trouble from the father in law and retreats to call his father...His father arrives and finds him dead on the porch...Shot twice in the chest and four times in the back where he lay...He had no weapon nor had he been in the house...Preacherman shot him dead and promptly committed himself for mental evaluation...No charges have been filed....The local TV station has called the local Sheriff several times and they refuse to reply...4 months is long enough to determine the facts...Facts that strongly suggest an innocent man was shot dead.....

Looks to me like the local LEOs are to busy staging crimes to actually do their job....a job complicated by the fact the preacherman is white and the son in law he murdered is black...Note this is the South and we did just witness that whole Trayvon thing....That sheet has got to stop somewhere....Here will be a good a place as any....

It's sad that stuff like that happens in just about Anytown, USA Dee, not just in the south. When I was a kid growing up, the most important thing to me was getting the hell out of my hometown and area. My hometown in Arkansas was named after Nathan Bedford Forrest

Fran, I'm glad to hear you and hubby didn't even get a speeding ticket. I was proactive and when I got my first Buzz I stopped in our local police station and showed it off, explained it to a handful of cops who were there. They were aware of only the cig a likes and had never seen a mod before. So far I've never been stopped here, but now that it's more common in the news about being able to use "honey oil" in them, I don't hold it in sight if I have a cop near by.

Every year, I get into the company Super Bowl pool. And every year, I draw weird numbers that would almost require a missed extra point, a two-point conversion or a safety for them to happen. Like that's going to happen.

This year, I finally get a '7' and a '6.' No problem; a touch, two field goals. I'm sitting pretty like a pig in $#!t.

So what happens on the first £¥€#ing play of the game? A safety.

Now all I need is another safety. Or to put that another way, I'm screwed.

I have no particular feelings about Manning one way or the other--but having said that, it'd be a sad thing for his career to end on a note like this.

I said awile back he should of quit while he was a winner. A lot of sports greats go until they're past being great and that is sad. He was great, one of the best.

Sounds like a war zone outside.

Manning set 3 records and easy to argue the best season ever by a QB in the NFL, so I don't think you can he's stayed to long (though I understand you're feeling your oats... I'd do the same :)).

That being said, I'd never have rooted for Denver if they weren't playing my enemy.

And I have to say....... Congrats John !!!

Ya he was good but he's getting to be the old man in NFL. Elway was great too but knew when to step down. Broadway Joe and Montana were better IMO. I think the era has a lot to do with who's great and who isn't.
Wharf you gotta quit backing losers buddy. LOL JK JK.

But you know I love ya buddy and football wise we'll always be competitors but in life you'll always be a Buddy.
