The money grubbing government. The U.S. will probably follow. They haven't made a decision on their own in a long time. The EU had the obamacare like policy that bankrupted them so the US has to have it too. Whatever happened to thought and NEW ideas?
Those peeps that found the gold will lose a great deal of it to the government too.

They're capable but that's too much like work. Ever notice when they first get elected to office they look all slim and trim. Then after a few yrs. they become fat from all the luncheons, and of course drinks till 5 after lunch. Or else they are oncoard a yacht somewhere with one of their aids. Bottom of the barrel.

Sorry, New York and California. The state with the richest neighborhoods is little ole' Maryland.

I don't know I go back and forth on term limits. I mean if you were getting operated on would you rather have a rookie doctor openning you up or a seasoned pro. Experience in dealing with lobbyist and all that, getting first hand knowledge of issues, building relationships. Maybe 2 terms for senators and 14 years for representatives. Somebody in their last term may not care about accountability. A lot to consider on the topic
