Glad Maddie is better...concerned that she isn't well by now...
We got the Wally Supers and an Express around every corner...Trust this....most of those "People of WallyWurld" memes on FB were shot in the South....
Fran good to hear the temps are rising...60s here for a few and back into the 80s by the latter part of the week...
Let an old friend borrow my box blade and teeth for his front end loader yesterday...He's a mechanic by trade and capable of an automatic transmission rebuild....Another friend runs a small shop specializing in transmissions..Both are trying to talk me out of the 5 speed swap...Heavy research and a well educated guess indicate the automatic can be repaired for a couple of hundred...Still it's reliability is questionable at best....
Niece doing those cotillion things...She's turning into a lady...I'm wondering where the time has gone...Missing my Dad as well...This head of the family thing rests heavy on a Brother at times...Never will all the things needing done will get done...The list grows faster than things get checked off...Past accomplishments are many but sometimes it's hard to see the forest for the trees...

Gorgeous day on tap here too, but I woke up with a sore, hoarse throat. Gonna run to the CVS to pick up a script and will grab some of those zinc thingies or Coldeze while there.

Wow life can be busy sometimes.
I had two memorials in two days. One for a golf partner and one for my old roommate's wife. Both in the 40's and 50's. Both died from alcohol and prescription drugs... what a waste. It is a good reminder, it could be me.
So good to heard Maddie is on the mend.
I feel ya Dee.... I never asked to take over my Dad's job and he had big shoes.
Grimmgreen gave me a first impression Thursday and my computer is blowing up.
I'm flying out to Denver Tuesday to hang with Trippy Tips and Clean tanks for a couple of days. Then it's off to Chicago for Vapebash. It will be fun but hectic.

It is beautiful out there today!!! Madison and I had a serious case of cabin fever, so we ventured out to Wally World (I know, I know, but I needed to get out. ) Then outside in the yard for some bubble blowing fun.
Now I feel like I could use a little nap.....it's too bad Madison no longer takes them. Guess it's just a rest for me for a few.

I've never mentioned this due too circumstances beyond my control....Late on St. Patricks Day I lost a long and dear friend....Drunk and walking home from a bar he got ran over...He had a heart of gold...just every dime he ever got went too the party...He was 55...
Man I tell you when it rains it fekking pours...$200 in batteries tomorrow for the Dodge so I can leg it while fixing the Ranger....So the Refrigerator up and dies....$250 and it's running again...and that was another friend...Thankful he got it sorted so fast...Still.....DAMMITT BOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just when you start gaining ground...Smacked down again....The Ranger will just have to leak...the hell with it!!!!

It's really hard watching people go down that road, knowing that it's gonna get them sooner or later. Sorry you lost yet another friend Dee. Last fall one of my old high school friend's died of an o.d. Right before Christmas, his 21 year old son died of the same.

On the last paragraph.....it happens ALL THE TIME to me as well. So much so that whenever I decide to get something for myself, I'm paranoid as h*ll to do it for fear that that next thing is about to happen. Feel your pain!!! Glad your fridge is fixed though!
I'll give this Cold-Eeze a shot, but try the honey and vinegar too. Must not be sick on Thursday!
