LD I saw a report on that and this yr. is supposed to be wetter and have more Tornados and hurricanes than normal. Because of a record El Niño.

Great way to spend the day Wharf!
We just had a boy stab a 16 year old girl to death in a local high school this morning. I wish I had the answer to what makes people do evil things :(

El Nino`!! I saw there was a tremendous storm southward as I went into the Buffet tailgate...never did rain there but it sure did down here on the coast...Saw a couple of flooded yards on the way in and tell tale signs here of a massive amount of rain....

Bov I'll take a few measurements and regroup....Couple of business as usual matters and a possible Ranger transplant victim has been found...Now if the guy with the Ranger would just answer the dang phone...let's all hope it's a 5-speed....Also on the hunt for HMMV rims....yes the Hum Vee...The tires on the Dodge were a whopping 1400 5 years ago...Nice sets from HMMVs available local for 200...I read last evening where Hum Vees must be crushed when purchased by civilians...

I was watching it on the news last night. The sea surface temps are higher and that will likely effect this yrs. El Niño. I don't know how they can be that accurate because anything could change between now and then but they know more than I do about all that dribble.

Awww bummer Wharf. It will be rescheduled I hope!

And sorry your hubby is hurting so much Fran. And I did catch the Miss Bovinia ;)

Got an email saying that the judge approved the fee waiver for the certified decree, so it should be in the mail next week. The only reason I didn't revert back to my maiden name is the expense and hassle of dealing with having the changes made to social security, driver license, etc. Every change requires a certified copy at $25 a pop. The fee waiver only covers one copy.

Hope everyone stays safe from the wild weather headed through the mid and southern areas!

Our kids got rianed out today :(

But I did get plenty of practice hauling a canopy, chairs, ice chest and blankets out. Setting everything up.... tearing it down and hauling it back :)

Wharf that sucks but up here we're used to it raining during a camp out on the beach. One time we spent the whole day playing cards in the van at the beach before it got sunny. I'm sorry you outing was ruined buddy.

5 I'm hoping that was the storm that passed this afternoon...Dig this...110 miles up the road from the beach and not one drop of rain....2 miles from the crib and the bottom falls out...We got wind damage and a funnel cloud was spotted one county over....I got my azz soaked unlocking the gate and again going into the house...

Spike has acquired a taste for RO filtered water...Matter of fact I've not seen him approach his water bowl in weeks...Coming up the road today I grabbed a bottled water for him and I...I thought he was gonna spit it out....Gave me that WTH look....

Home Depot had the flooring in stock...I ran it through the table saw since I was back home....Couple more hours working on the joists and the floor will be down....Thinking I may need an escape hatch and a tunnel....Like the Scouts....Be prepared!!

Making a trip to a worm farm tomorrow...I'm buying 64 gallons of castings for my soil project....Internet castings are $1 per lb....Fishing worms sell at wholesale 24 for $4/ $6 retail...There is also a market for casting tea for plants...@$36 per gallon....I'm gonna feel the situation out and get a look at this guy's worm beds...Pretty solid market on the worms but seasonal...Good castings are always sold out....Not looking at getting rich but it could be a way to snag a few bucks here and there...

This soil mix I'm preparing only needs the addition of water for the plants too thrive...No synthetic nutes required...Simply dump the bucket and re-ammend the soil at the end of the season....Nature does the rest........
