Haha, love the pic! Katie is happy...the Dr didn't have to take the nail off. He basically just gave her a pedicure! He shaped the nails and told her to get some Vick's Vapor Rub to rub on her toe nails every day to keep them soft and easier to cut.
I keep a jar of Vick's on my bedside table for my lips, I think I'll try some on my big toes myself
Katie bought us lunch...I have a big fat Reuben with my name on it just waiting for me to dig in. We have an awesome Jewish Deli and Restaurant here, the desert special today was Pina Colada Bread Pudding...YUM!

I planted my front porch boxes today. I swear it's therapy for me. Felt great after the long winter.
I also got some pre planted planters with geraniums and the spiky greens in the middle to put inside of concrete planters leading into my yard. (Lazy way) Any pointers with geraniums care? They are not my favorite flowers and I've never had them before. Do you dead head them? Thanks for any pointers.

They aren't my favorite either Tracy, but Katie plants some every year. I deadhead them to let the plant's energy go into more growth rather than into making seed.
It's a rare pleasure to have a day that Katie is in a great mood! She's excited about me planting sunflowers and was pointing out all the places she wants my to put seeds! Hopefully the squirrels won't dig them up and eat them before they sprout. I haven't planted yet, we're going to make a trip to the local garden center and pick out some things to transplant soon.

I just googled the date for Mother's Day....Yeah...I was once a Boy Scout....

My research continues into the organic soil world...That was my main interest in the worm beds...With good worm castings as a base organic soil is unmatched by anything in a bottle or bag....Tripping down tomorrow to install the lineoleum, tub and toilet...This will allow me to get a measurement on the vanity...Planning on a Habitat or Craigslist vanity of at least 36 inches...Still a long way to the finish line...
