I'm back guys!!!!
Lost power around 10:20 Monday evening, just got it back at 3:30 am today (Friday)! My house didn't suffer much damage thank God, but my beloved vacation spots at the Jersey shore are just gone, and that totally breaks my heart. :-( </3
I had a small generator to keep my vaping gear and phone charged, but it couldn't quite keep up with my fridge/freezer.
I really need to hop on over to the notcigs site and get me some new batts for my BP!!! Going through all 3 sets of powerizers in a days time now.
I'm glad you all are safe!!! Hugs
Tracy I'm so glad you're ok and back!! I know you asked me earlier today to let everyone know you were ok...I didn't forget, just had a busy day too.
Watching the news coverage still makes me cry, so many people still going thru this aftermath!
I cry everytime I see the news coverage Bov. "Down the shore" as we say if you're from here, is such a part of summer-life in NJ...it's just "what you do" and "where you go", and I have my whole life. I'm glad that my kids and I will always have our memories. I hope they rebuild.
Thank you Fran, Bov, Wharf and 5c! (((hugs)))
908 Tracy, it's Juanita here; so glad you pulled through the storm ok and so, so, so very sorry about the shore house! I'm distraught the amount of damage Jersey suffered, especially down the shore; just spent summer vacation down in Wildwood and Cape May. The "Jersey Shore" as we Jerseyans knew it is completely wiped out; so, so, so sad. However, like you, I'm praying they rebuild. I'm thankful however, we still have our lives; we have much to be grateful for, despite all of the losses. It's been an exhausting week, to say the least. . . . Now the nor'easter supposed to hit Wednesday.
Juanita
I just feel sad for all the people still trying to recover from Sandy. This is just a minor irritation for me compared to so many who are still without homes and power![]()
