I have rescued/adopted most of my animals that I have ever had. The only pedigreed animal I have ever had is Sashwa the Pixiebob.

The previous 2 were adopted. This kitten was saved from a tragic death. I trapped her after finding her sister ripped to shreads in our back yard. Ferals are on the rise. This kitten is my son's cat. Very skid-dish with the other cats but she is 10 years old.

She's a pretty girl, Sdh. I'm glad you were able to rescue her.

Sashwa is 17yrs old and I've had her since she was 7 weeks.

@sashwa. Your kitten is cute. I love them all. My male cat is a dog. Fully leashed trained. The neighbor was jealous because he is well behaved on a leash.

I call him scooter-boy.

Kg no problem with the diet. I just follow the Mediterranean diet usually. However, I do wear a feed bucket at times. LOL

Okay, now I think that I see what the problem is lol

Thats what I eat too! I like the Blue Bunny Fat Free/ No Sugar added. I can have it on that GI diet. 1/2 cup with a few almonds for protein. Yummy stuff!

Meet Ben the Dog. He was rescued down in Warfie's neck of the woods about 3 years ago. Someone abandoned him in a box along the side of a road. After I adopted him, I found out he'd also been abused. Even after 3 years, I still can not raise my voice if he around - he cowers and whimpers.

Ohhhhhhhh That is sad and there are so many more out there like that kudos to you for adopting! So many homeless animals that need homes and I do not like to encourage the breeders either.

Lol I didn't say I would eat it now...its for the dh. He has to follow a low salt, low fat diet. He does cheat with granola bars.

Noooooo there is a point lol And if it is the good kind, you never know the difference!

i like it with the sugar and fat added , i can just run 5 miles afterwards.


it will just take me 5 years to run that distance.

My problem is OJ. I drink in morning, noon and night. That's all I drink now. It's my new addiction. I eat more Sherbet than ice cream and even though I'm supposed to be on a low sodium diet I eat Cheetos Flamin hot 24/7 too. So much my mustache and fingers are always orange.

Awww, I love all the fur baby pics! Rescues are the best, but I have to admit that I "rescued" Chase from a pet store. I went in there to ask where the local shelter was but I fell in love with him right away! Here he is the day we brought him home And another at 6mo. old, helping mommy kill bad guys in EverQuest 2 lol

We're getting ready for another litter of Bulldogs. We already have people waiting so they will only be here a short while.

He is a cutie Bo. I'm putting JD to work.

Third shift dropping by...Hey!! I just left the dang shop....

...Bov I can feel your pain....Spike is a human food hoe...Mom is 81 and feeds him to much of whatever she is eating..He's 11 lbs...a spoonful for him is like a plateful for us...

Good karma too everyone whom has rescued an animal...Somewhere in the archives is the story of the day I met Spike...His previous owners...I'll just say that I'm still not real happy about the things they did...One day Tonto....one day.....

Good morning workaholics! Only four more days until Monday!!

I've got a busy day planned too just like all of you non-retired people do.

First, I think I'll run up to the Coffee Shop and see what all the old men up there have to report on, then run by the Feed Store and say "hi" to the guys that hang out there and then stop by the Hardware Store and wink at the big ol' gal who has a crush on me ... then home for some lunch and a nap.

Its going up to about 55 degrees today, so this afternoon I might get on my 4wheeler and ride around a while and look things over then come in and get in my big ol' recliner and watch a movie on television and maybe plan what I'm going to do tomorrow.

Busy, busy, busy.
