Hi guys! I don't remodel every other day....its been an ongoing project I told dh that we should have hired it out. However, we are repairing things for hiring out sub-contractors from 20 years ago. Its a catch-22. We found out that they put the floor joists in upside down. WTH. We would have to implode the house to correct that issue. So yeah TT we are try to correct the low spots of our floor. Its been a trip. Sidetracked with other projects as well related to the house. I am not working much at all. I am a PRN nurse which means I pick up the hours when I want to work. I plan on working allot of hours in Feb.

We have new management and they have been firing people left and right. I am always thinking I may be on the list as well. :)

Buzzkill won't let me do much inventin, he says my designs make his head hurt. But he is letting me pick out some new goodies to stock the store with ;)

Salem, I truly did consider Chase as a rescue even tho he came from the pet store. I know all about puppy mills and how pet stores get their puppies and kitties. And I know what happens to them when they don't sell fast enough :(

That's why our puppies sell so fast. Because of those Puppy mills. The people that get these say they want there pups raised in a warm loving environment (the house) and not in a cage. Plus I heard they lose a lot of them but we've never lost one. Of course we don't keep the mom pregnant 24/7 like they do to. She's part of the family and this is only here second litter in 3 yrs. and her and bandit are the only breeding pair we have. The rest are fixed. Gives us a little puppy time when they're here and helps with a little money but after vets, tests, vets, shots, vets, birthing, and more vets there isn't much of that left. Oh I left out she need to be inseminated too. Puppy mills should be as illegal as fighting dogs. They are cruel people.

SDH I can relate. I'm rebuilding the rebuild I did about 15 yrs. ago but I'm not a full time contractor either or even a carpenter but I know how to use a saw, drive a nail. I did the wiring too but I over did it so not to have problems. The windows I was a journeyman glazier at one time in my sorted past.

After seeing all that has gone on around here recently.....Well....I'll just keep on washing my own clothes...Single...It has its advantages...

My Aunt and Uncle live in Myrtle Beach...They have a home here that's on the market...They were by here yesterday and heading back too Myrtle...My Aunt often rides in the back seat...Why I can't tell you...They stopped at K&W before going home...2 computers in the front seat....a ladies purse in the rear....You guessed it...All gone with a busted window and a screwed up door...$110 in gas charged thirty minutes later in Conway, SC....You ask for it....don't beech when you get it....

Winter storm advisory for the evening...The wind is rockin and rollin....raining pretty good to...I'm right on the edge of the nasty stuff...1/2 inch predicted with 6~12 a few counties over...Here's hoping that dang front don't shift south....Hopefully the milk and bread crew left the BoJangles alone....Looks like a chicken bisquit and sweet tea night...and some hibernation to follow !!!!!

Good Morning/Afternoon!
We're not getting rain or snow around here. Just fog & 30 degrees. Nice & cold & crisp. Good day to stay indoors & drink hot tea or coffee...with some whiskey in it perhaps.:D
All this talk of puppies is making me jealous. I want another dog so badly. Hubs still isn't ready. Our last 2 dogs & cat all got old & passed, and the vet bills were pretty high - plus it's kind of nice to not have to vacuum animal hair up every day..But I sure miss having a furry little companion around here!
Happy vaping, I hope everyone is having a Fine Thursday! :)
xoxo Teta

We are getting snow! It won't be much. Just enough to look pretty and then go away. Just the way I like it :) Living in the south does have it's advantages lol

After seeing this evenings weather report I was wondering if you would get any of that snow. Now I know!

You'll have to get some of those cute boots like Fran and Bov and go out and shovel some of it.

Just for the fun of it, of course!

Lol Salem...I'd have more than $3 in the bank too...if I'd made a better choice ;)

5C, I know you and your family take really good care of your puppies! I loved watching the updates on your daughter's FB page as the last litter grew and found their forever homes

I know, Bov. Kudos to you for making the best of things :)

Same weather going on here, LD. Yeah, there will be no milk or bread left anywhere by morning. A Bojangles biscuit for dinner is another advantage of being single ;-)

Each year except for last, we had enough snow to go sled riding down the hill out back that leads to the pond for at least one day of the winter. I doubt that there will be enough to shovel and if there is, I will just stay inside until it melts lol I have been paying attention during your lessons!

Daggone El Dee, that's terrible about what happened to your aunt and uncle. I'm really sorry to hear that. For us older people there was a time in our lives when you could leave things in a vehicle and didn't even have to lock the door. But sadly those days are long gone and I guess they should have know better. Still a shame though.

And I also hope you don't get any of that 6 - 12 inches of snow either. Of course it would create a lot of body shop work!

As for being single, it does have some advantages I guess. I don't know. I really like to have people around me and the more the better. My wife went up to a lady friends house this afternoon and I had to go out and lay down on my couch in the front yard in the weeds by the boat and talk to my dogs and headless chicken and beer drinking armadillo and lawn mowing goat. And its not that I mind laying around talking to them ... I don't.

But people are more interesting to talk to.

I agree, TT. It is much nicer living with your soul mate. I will be married to mine for 33 years tomorrow and would not change a thing :)

BTW- I am not old. We have been together since we were both children lol
Well congratulations on the anniversary!!! That's something in this day and age.

One of my old friends brags that he has had Zippo lighters that outlasted some of his marriages!
