I hope everyone here has signed this because it will be us who lose. It takes 2 sec., just one click of the mouse.

Petition to White House to "Prevent the FDA from regulating or banning the sale and use of electronic cigarettes, accessories and associated liquids" has 18,566 signatures in first two weeks, needs 6,434 6022 more signatures in next two weeks for White House to respond.

The FDA has repeatedly stated its intent to propose a “deeming” regulation to apply Chapter IX of the FSPTCA to e-cigarettes.

Wow 5Card, you were up late last night!

You were probably sitting around thinking of the 66 degrees we're going to be at today and going on up into the 70's in a few days here in Yeast Texas, the home of every fungus, mold and allergy known to man.

I'm sitting around this morning vaping my Mocha Cappuccino and drinking that nice New Mexico coffee with pinon nuts and marveling at these T3's. Vaping sure has changed a lot since we started 5Card. I'll have three years in May and started with Green Smokes. They were a pretty good vape back then, but I moved on to 808 cigarette style manual batteries and refillable cartos.

Now I've got this fancy Buzz Pro and some other high end PV's, a variety of clearo's and carto's including of course the world famous Fusion and they all have a place in my vaping world. I like the Fusions for when I'm working around the house outside because their sturdier and at my computer desk usually have a couple T3's filled with different jooces so I can switch out a little bit.

I love vaping!

Now if the gobernuts will just stay out of it .... and leave us alone ...

TT

Congrats on the 3 years 5card!!! It is an awesome feeling isn't it. My 2 year was this month-the lst of January for last cig after having received my kit for Xmas, and the 12th for ECF. I still can't believe it at times after trying for so hard for so many years to quit. The support here at ECF was/is priceless.....

Well, we're all just pretty darned proud of our toto!!

E-cig's and support are important, but the desire to stop smoking cigarettes has to be first.

And you did it toto!!

Way to go ToTo. I started with a 510 also and my first puff was like "Oh heck no, This is not me" But after running my big mouth to everyone I knew about getrting that damn thing I knew I had to try so I went on ECF and the folks helped me through it. Then I started building all sorts of contraptions. Then I ran into .... and the Buzz. I didn't even realize I quit until a couple weeks went by and I thought, It's been a couple weeks since I had a smoke. Now I can't stand the smell of them when someone is smoking around me.

TT I don't know why that poster said they were cold because the weather in East Texas doesn't look like 38 degrees to me.

I love hearing everyone's quit stories, and how we all started vaping!

I tried a Blu, coughed my azz off and returned it. Smoked for a bit longer then decided "maybe a different kind"? Next tried V2 (kr808d) with prefilled cartos...wanted to like it more than anything because I really wanted to quit....coughed terribly again, contacted the company who suggested it might be the PG in their juice and that I should try buying blanks and filling my own but it would be more expensive. (What?!)
That lead me here my friends where I bought a few eGo kits, and then I wanted a Mod, not just any mod either, a sexy, in your face, killa mod and I knew my search was over when I landed here!

***We started out in the 60's this am. Crazy winds, lots of rain, few power outages (luckily not me) and we are now down to 39. Winds still whipping around, but rain has stopped.*** Cripes! Is it SPRING YET???
Actually my Aunt just said that she's hearing we should have more mild temps for the next 2 months than usual. Ya wouldn't know it today, but I hope she's right.

I was an accidental quitter, tried a PV just to cut down a little, be able to use it places where smoking wasn't allowed, when I saw a comment about them in an article on NY raising taxes. First setup was an RN 4081 IIRC. Tried it, could tell it wasn't quite right (PITA atty type setup, eliquid not quite strong enough), but saw the potential. I found ECF right after that, went to 808 for a half year, then a couple months with Rivas, before getting my original Infinity. I've been using notcigs PV for almost 2 years now.

That's amazing that it would be warmer up north in the morning than here in Texas!

The cold here is from that Arctic front that blew through and caused all the storms, but we can live with a few days of chilly weather. It will be back up in the 70's before long.

Its only 50 degrees right now ... so its a good day to just watch television and think about poor Sdh up there where its only 13 degrees!!!

Good afternoon...well morning for me. It is a cloudy 14.0 degrees right now.
My first kit was a ego. I did move on. :) I really wasn't planning on quitting but I did. However, I am human and I have cheated a few times. I don't take it as failure because I know what I am doing. However, I am to the point I would vomit if I had to smoke a cig...so that is really good.

One thing about quitting ... I smoked for about 53 years and smoked pretty heavy.

When I first ordered the Green Smokes I had made up my mind in advance that I was going to make these things work. They had a real good Coffee pre-filled carto at 24mg of nic (I think). The day they first arrived and I got the battery charged and screwed on that first carto, I put the cigarettes down and never smoked another one.

I've slowly lowered my nic level to 18mg and plan to continue lowering it as time goes on.

I'd tried all the other methods of quitting smoking, but e-cigs are what made it happen. And I enjoy my vaping!
