Here is just something simple to explain. What happens to some people it can cause muscle damage. The heart is a major muscle. Other countries promote using q10 with statin use. YMMV but I personally would never take a statin without it. DH cannot tolerate the statins anyway. We are using other alternative methods to reduce his cholesterol.

I did talk to a woman on FB who started a group because her husband died from statin therapy. For most people they can tolerate these drugs. However, for some it's not the case.

My bad cholesterol is at an ok level, but my good one is low. I take fish oil caps now, as every statin they pushed on me gave me those ripping pains in my leg muscles. mod, try keeping your fish oil caps in the freezer to help with the fish burps

I have been reading the posts about statins and it just now occurred to me that hubby has been taking Pravastatin for 2-3 years.
I am sorry Bov. I can understand the frustration. My bio pop was a drinker as well and abused my mother. Not cool at all. I have a general empathy but I do possess disgust as well.Maybe I can borrow some of your empathy, I'm fresh out of it. I think it's different when it's your spouse tho.

Just sharing. However, it is something you have to be comfortable with related to treatment and treatment options.
I'm guessing that some of hubby's problems could be caused by the pravastatin. I'll have to get some cq10

With all the other ailments I have I'm always told my heart is extremely good. Different docs throughout the yrs. have all said I have a slow solid beat and I have no cholesterol or diabetes problems either. But my mother had a good heart but her heart is what took her. They said there was nothing wrong with it but it just quit working. She went to sleep and that was it. I just let the good Lord look after my life and when he says times up then I'm ready.

Good old Direct TV...Yeah it's been a month since I last beeched about them...My bill before the fiasco was $89....I lost $10 for removing the auto pay....then I was granted -$10 for whatever reason I can't remember now but the bottom line is my bill was to remain at $89 for 10 months....Bill this month $99....I would love to see what they steal per month from their customers...
4 days back I ordered a worm gear for a speedometer offin' ebay...Got it yesterday...3 days ago I ordered a used Corbin Gunfighter seat for my HD...I checked at the evening coffee break and it still hadn't shipped so I shot the seller a message...He promptly shot back that it had shipped today and he would send a tracking # tomorrow....Last I shipped I received the tracking # then and there....When I post an item it's packed and ready for shipment...I get the money and it's a bat outta hades too the post...and I never charge for shipping...$25 and take your time....I'm betting when a tracking # does show it's shipped on 2/1...A lie will get major negative feedback...I'm tired of being lied too...Between my last customer, Direct and now this guy...Sheesh K boB !!!! Down on the farm as a kid I learned a valuable lesson about lyin'...I had many cousins whom often visited for a few days...Many, many times things were done that shouldn't have been...My Granny was always on top of the game and knew who to ask about what...many times I saw an azz get whipped for lyin'....I preferred then and now to let the others make mistakes...Myself I find it best to stick with the truth...Unless it's the law and then I'll take the 5th....
Sorry for the rant,,,It's late again and it was a long day......I paid none of T's sociables but still got a ton o sheet done...I'm a bit scattered at this point....
I checked the voltage of the Spinner....When set at 4.2 it's 4.6....Cheep Chinese Cheet !!!!!!!!!!! I wanted too run a fresh T3 against 2 tanked Boges...One tired one still fairly fresh...The Boge is ahead at this point but the T3 may gain with a little break in....
