Fran I'll be asking the man upstairs to comfort you in the coming days........Dee

Rainy and cloudy here...The alarm clock looks as it may never work again after what happened at 8am....Temps are in the high 40s...Hey why get up??? I'll be doing that plenty here in a few days...Gonna take some adjusting....

Looks like I've made my last bulk purchase of Diet Coke...I thought about going Si Robertson and carrying around iced tea...Trouble with that is it sours if stored for any period...How fast can I drink 5 gallons???? Like my 120ml joose mixes...Go big or go home!!! Trace says Turkey Hill tea is good...Seems these days everything on the shelf will kill you...I need to learn some tea brewing techniques...TH Tea for out and about....That's what I'm sayin' JACK !!

The Celica had a full Hotchkis Suspension and some other go fast goodies...Yeah I noticed and this led too the car almost being purchased...The right side and roof had been repainted with no/low quality product....Peeling and in sheets...Autobody repair is not easy by any means...I put the word out I was ready to join the workforce again and my phone was blowing up....Why?? It's a wide known fact when I do it there will be NO COMPROMISE in quality...Last week I ran into an early 80s short bed Chevy that I painted in 87/8??? I know the guy though I don't often see him and the truck is 2 tone green...A light heading yellow and a lime metallic...I loved the combo then and here today it still shines like money...I'll never claim to be the best...you best be on your game too beat me though....Had the Celica been repaired correctly it would have been in the yard...It's no Trans Am but fun to drive with great fuel economy...I've my eye on another with low mileage and a higher price...I've probably logged over a million miles in Toyota products thru the years...They make good sheet....

Breaking news story: TT just bought this item to mow his lawn.

johndeerechopper.jpg

Yeah, I'm real proud of this snazzy mower! El Dee suggested the John Deere green and yellow and it turned out beautiful! Don't you think?

I'll be riding this in the Old Timers Day Parade this year. This is the parade they hold every year in July when the temperature is 116 degrees and the humidity is at 99%. I think this is to see how many old timers they can wipe out ... and I think that because the parade is always sponsored by the funeral home in town and that big soda pop company.

Probably some kind of a conspiracy so they don't have to pay us old timers our Sociable Securities money.

I've been hearing a lot about these conspiracies on the color television set up there at the Coffee shop in town and now I don't trust nobody no more!

And don't tell me its paranoia because it can't be paranoia when you KNOW their out to get you!!

TT

ElDee,

Are you ready for the Quack Pack Attack??? lol Duck Dynasty season 3 starts 2 weeks from tonight JACK! I can't wait. That old Si just kills me, and I truly love that show. :)
Yes Turkey Hill is a very good tea. I know exactly what you mean by it souring in time though as I've had that happen more than a time or two. :p I buy 4 or 5 gallons per week but do drink Pepsi a couple of times a week. (Throwback or Caffeine free) My favorite TH is the orange capped one (lemon flavored) and Bo prefers the TH green tea. They're both very good. The lemon flavored (orange capped) has a little polar bear on the label that completely escaped me....but not my daughter. She calls it bear tea! Anyways, we love the stuff.

Bear tea !!! I'll be checking into that!!!!

Addiction....I've killed some demons.....Breaking w/cigarettes and going with Vapor...It takes some effort....Just the other day I'm steady vaping while pulling down the rear end in a Corvette....Yeah I can set gears up....A small crowd was watching...one of them chain smoking...The Vette was on a lift and some smoke was being trapped under there...I fanned it away when I got a free hand...Now these guys had been in a big lie competition for a bit...each trying to outdo the other....The smoker had obviously taken offense that the smoke bothered myself and my 17 year old assistant...He made the comment about how vaping a gas station e-cig didn't really work for him and some more blah, blah, BLAH!! Meanwhile we kept on working on the Vette and never did make any comment...He did say that all I'd done was switched too vaping and that I was still addicted too nicotine....The Vette is fixed...He's still smoking and stupid.....I'm vaping up a storm!!!!!!!!!!! Next !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Green Tea...It's OK by me...I need something packaged in a single serving to keep handy in the shop...It will need to be safe to drink...I've got trust issues with anything mass produced...TH I'll be checking out...Anyone else got any safe beverage ideas???? Caffine is a requirement....It's an addiction I'm willing too keep.....

Trace I've worked at the Honda Dealer for a few years....They are damn fine cars...Toyota is their equal IMO....My beloved RN30{the mini Toy truck} was discontinued in 1995....an epic FAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I find the Toyota parts to be cheaper than Honda.....Toys generally get better fuel economy...Used Toys are a little cheaper than Hondas...and Honda never made an equal too the RN30...Still Mom has an Accord and My Sis drives a CRV....both I picked out....Either brand when taken care of is a safe bet...

Good to know ElDee, thanks so much!
I have an '01 Impala that has had head gasket issues from day 1. Just had that i$$ue taken care of in the fall. It's one thing after another with that car. ABS issues out the ying yang. Had 3 different people try to fix it, a whole lotta $$ later and it's still an issue. I have always been a Chevy girl (American ya know), except for my first car, a '65 Mustang, but this car has left a bad taste in my mouth for another.

LMAO!!! It really does smell horrible! I was going to throw it away.....across town! The other bottles that it came with reek of it too (from the outside). I seriously removed them all from the package and wiped them all down, then put the caramel cap in a double ziplock bag of it's own, wrapped the extra bag tightly to it, stuffed it into another bag.....and I STILL smell it whenever I walk near it! It's unreal! Burnt rubber...you nailed it girl! hahaha
Sounds like some green stuff I had once. :D

LD the dude is just trying to justify his weakness. I had a fellow co-worker who was a nurse tell me "those things don't work" and " I tried one and they suck" as she was continuing to chain smoke outside. Long story short. Two days later she had a heart attack and she was diagnosed with lung cancer. Stage 4. She use to laugh at me every time she noticed my ecig outside. She is the reason I started ecigs. She had shown off her shopping mall ecig to everyone. Days later I asked her "hey do you think they work"? Well she told me they suck and don't even bother. I didn't like her anyway....so I started researching ecigs Dec 09. June/July 2010 I bought my first kit.

Arizona green tea is good. I like the sugar free version. Yes, I do indulge in Splenda products. I don't have a problem with fake sweeteners. I just limit my amount.

How was shopping Sdh?

Sorry about your coworker, but glad that you found your way to ecf because of her.

Shopping was okay. I went to 4 stores. I had to get son's prescription filled at Wally World. I usually will have to go shopping every third day just for fresh bread and milk. Wednesday is my power shopping day. I had to stock up on Nature Valley protein bars. The family loves them....and they actually have a little protein. You do know I am a hoarder? Right? I have at least 75 boxes right now. Don't ask about the toilet paper because dh is the hoarder with that product. :)

LOL! Well I'm glad you are well stocked up then!

My middle is sick today and stayed home from school. She needs to go to the mall for a gift for her BF for Valentines day. I wish she had gotten him something before now, as I'm not so sure she will be feeling much better tomorrow.
Her BF just texted me a picture of the necklace he got her to see if I think she will like it. <so sweet...young love>

Tracy, I bookmarked that Mexican Rice Pudding recipe...sounds great! I could open a can of condensed milk and just eat it with a spoon

I rarely drink soda, but when I do I don't want diet anything...blech! Every now and then I'll buy a 12 pack of caffeine free Coke, but my drink of choice is the Power-C Vitamin Water, it's the dragonfruit flavored one. When I find the 20oz ones on sale I buy them, then refill the empty bottles with water and put them back in the fridge.

LOL Mod!! I have a green story that I probably shouldn't tell...but you know I'm gonna! Hubby had some last fall that was particularly odoriferous, no matter what he did or where he hid it. Every night MIL would walk around the house cussing the neighborhood skunk...and so did I until I learned what it really was LOL. I finally made hubs take it out to the tool shed to hide, and the next day MIL wants me to find the hole in the shed that "that damn skunk is getting in thru!"
