that's why I'm glad I don't like down south. It's a nice pleasant 62° here today so I won't freeze or roast.

LOL, I love that little tractor 5Card!!

Out in southwest New Mexico where I grew up 100 - 105 degrees wasn't real unusual ... but we had almost no humidity and it was easy to tolerate the heat.

Here in East Texas (or Charleston) when its 90 degrees but 90% humidity its a killer.

I've always joked with the locals here in East Texas about them having what they call "Old Timers Day" in the middle of July when the temperatures and humidity are at their worst.

I always call it Old Timers Fatality Day and accuse them of wiping out two or three of us old timers every year.

I've been making them for everyone. Here's how far I got.

I get to go look for new tires tomorrow...yippee...not! I need to get the front end aligned after someone has wrecked it 3 times in he last 18 months. No body damage, but I get some pretty bad steering wheel wobble at about 60mph, so I should slap a couple of new tires on the front while they do that. Jeez, it's been so long since I had to take care of this kind of stuff, I almost forgot how. I noticed that the factory tread markers on my tires are worn to the "replace me" stage.

Lilac, yes he is talented! 5c makes all of my sig banners and avatars for me :)

I will Fran, but I can only do two this pay day. The back tires aren't quite as bad as the front, I expect they wore faster because of the front end being out of alignment. Pity too, because one of the tire stores here has a special going, if you buy 4 tires, they mount them and do the front end alignment for free.

No, she got her Discover statement today that has 3 months of my car insurance on it, it's not a good time to ask  Funny thing tho, she's mad a hell that Discover charged her a $10 cash advance fee for putting money on Kevin's commissary, but didn't flinch at the $130 for my insurance. My insurance company won't allow me to drop him off the policy even tho the car is licensed and registered in my name...because we are not divorced

I can file on my own here, I also have a friend who is a paralegal, but that is a conundrum of it's own. You still have to pay court and administrative fees (I can save up for that) but it most likely will leave me without a roof over my head. All of this life sheet is wearing me out! If I had made smarter choices in my younger years...but I can't go backwards, only forward.

It's a Monday, tomorrow will be a better day :)

The 14" of snow we got was all gone the end of last week. You can see plenty of grass and it's green, sure looks good. The Morel mushrooms should be out in 2 or 3 weeks , yum. Another sign of Spring , the return of the boys of summer, MLB started for most teams yesterday. :2cool: My team, the STL Cardinals, got beat though by the D-backs out in Arizona. Maybe, they'll get 'em tonight.
