Thanks Lilac. It only took 4 mo. 425 million hrs. on hold and talking to every representative in their system and a lot of trash talk on their facebook page. Oh and one night I linked Comcast don't care to their facebook page and them people's trash talk even embarrasses me it's so bad.

Myself....I hate the cold...It's hot down here but I still haven't employed much a/c...The heat is a dear old friend...Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!
Mom wanted new doors for her crib...I purchased the best ones I could find and had them on site...New storms were added as well....Now I can get pretty deep into carpentry...I also know a few master carpenters......and....My cousin's run a remodeling business....For family reasons I won't delve into I didn't wanna install the doors myself...None of the master carpenters wanted to do it...Finally I hired my cousins....making damn sure it was clear no cash would change hands until the job was finished and inspected...Soon after everything was said and done the main entrance storm began rubbing the frame...It progressively got worse....I got back from the beach @ 1pm and it would no longer close...I removed the door trim, aluminum trim around the door opening and peeled back the vinyl...One 2X4 had shifted inward and was causing the rubbing...It shifted from not being nailed worth a damn...Matter of fact in an area so critical....NAILS???? No Son the big boys use screws...A little blood....a little sweat....one hell of a lot of cussing the door shuts, locks and opens perfectly...My cousin???? That boy is full of hot air...unkept promises and always telling everyone how superior his work is....Hey....Us players???? We let the damn work do the talking....I knew better still I let him do it...There will be no next time...

What a drag that you couldn't trust your own kin to do your Mom right I believe I'd be taking some of that labor bill outa his ... end.
Katie is the same way with hiring some fool off the street. She's been ripped off plenty, but not lately with me giving her the "hell no" eye when she tries to get something for nothing. There are plenty of things I can't do, but I can sure find a reputable person to handle it for her.

Bov the boy doesn't even know he was a last resort...Whatever I do I always put my all into it...I try and use the best materials available as well...It may take longer to complete the job but it will last longer as a result...I've known for weeks the door needed attention...Believe one thing...It was about the last thing I wanted to do today after arriving home...My cousin could have saved me hours by spending a few minutes...He'll never again get that opportunity...One thing is certain...It's fixed and I'm dang happy about that...
Mom called as I was driving too the beach...She has a habit of leaving the car door open and killing the battery...At 82 things could be much worse...it's on the charger now and I guess I'll head up in a minute to trim the charge amps down to trickle charge...That poor battery has caught hell for sure...Hopefully in the coming days everything will hold together...For sure the door will....
Five that was great how you handled CoNcast...I threw in the towel with Direct...They can charge what the hell ever they want....They will get $88 skins on the 15th of every month...I told them that when they said the charge could vary month to month....It's best to pay a little more than your monthly bill just in case...Good thing it was e-mail or I would have surely secured a spot in Hell over that...I'll not get worked up again over a tv bill...

Our weather pattern is the same as yours Fran. UGH! Can't wait till it cools down a bit myself. I hate looking at the electric meter outside spinning away with these ac's running at max. (I'm not even finished paying off the oil bill) Lord!

Similar thing happened to my daughter at college, except she left an interior light on when exiting her car the weekend before she was due to come home. Thank goodness for triple A!!!
I think we have similar cousins as well. In my case though, it's a few of them! There are plenty of other good ones thankfully.

LD I try to do all that stuff with chat or email because then I have a record of what they promise and say. They always steer me to the phone because then they can say and promise whatever they want. Those chat records came in nicely when fighting this thing.
Well Dee, I did a half ... job today that's not making me happy. It's time for Chase's grooming so I thought I'd save the $40 and do it myself. Got about 2/3's done and my clippers chit the bed. I'm none too happy about it because this is a new clipper and only been used a couple of times to shave his face in between groomings. MIL went off the rail about him looking half groomed so I told her she was welcome to pay for the groomer. Well that was like slapping a hornet's nest. Now she's on a rampage about the electric bill, how her house doesn't belong to her anymore with me living here...blah blah. Told her I'd start looking for someplace else to live, but when she discovered that Chase will be going with me she seemed shocked

Took a nap and the wind changed direction while I was sleeping. Thanks for the kind words, but I do believe I just had a good old fashioned temper tantrum

Ha!!! I know whats buried there in the Alamogordo dump. Its one of those flying saucer things! I watch all those flying saucer programs on television and I know they are all over the place in New Mexico!! I'll bet the goobermint buried it there because it holds the secrets of a new Sewage Treatment Plant technology that they don't want the people in Alamogordo to have because they make too much money off the old Sewage Treatment Plant!! Money!! Its behind everything! Well ... money and sewage.
