I made pretty good headway on the shop today. Got shelves built, trash picked up, and the floor swept on that part anyway and things put away. I got a good call to haul pile started. I was just filthy from head to toe and my clothes were wet from perspirayion. You mix that with dust and it turns to mud. It was hot in there.

Ha!!! I know whats buried there in the Alamogordo dump. Its one of those flying saucer things! I watch all those flying saucer programs on television and I know they are all over the place in New Mexico!! I'll bet the goobermint buried it there because it holds the secrets of a new Sewage Treatment Plant technology that they don't want the people in Alamogordo to have because they make too much money off the old Sewage Treatment Plant!! Money!! Its behind everything! Well ... money and sewage.

TT

Yep, that's pretty much the way I have it figured too. That's why I've hoarded my sewage since 1983.

Tracy, when I lived in Tx we'd see 100+ degrees all summer and it was not nearly as miserable as it is here. Our humidity rarely gets below 60% on a good days here...where I lived, it was normal to see humidity down in the 10 to 20% range. Of course, I was a lot younger then too and could handle it better.

That's a ton of work 5c!

It about got me yesterday and today. I don't drink a lot of liquid or eat during the day. I kept thinking about getting a drink but just got sidetracked. I did drink about a half gal. of OJ when I came in. Now I can get some things done in the shop I've been wanting to do. I figure the exercise was good for me. The heat down south is easier to take. Even when it's hot up here it still feels wet.

Wharf, Charlotte is 125 miles West...Hey we got the Great Smoky Mountains on one side and the Atlantic on the other....My dad toured the Country in a transfer truck....He always said Five's Washington was the most beautiful of all the states...Lynchburg, Tennessee is the farthest I've ventured west....yes....I went to the distillery....

LMAO Wharf!!

5, that's like me...I have a hard time pushing myself to drink enough water, I don't eat breakfast, usually don't eat until around 2 or 3 in the afternoon.

Dee, I've been from Portland Maine to Portland Or., Washington state, damn near every southern state from AZ to Fl, and all up the eastern seaboard. It'd be easier for me to name the states I haven't been. I can tell you one thing for certain from this girl's perspective...there's no place like home!! I wish I had one that felt like home.

The crazy saga continues today. There is a 20% chance of rain tonight, so the yard had to be mowed...right now...in the heat of the day at 90+ degrees. With mil standing over my shoulder telling me how she wants it done  Today I just smiled and said "yes ma'am"

It's still a beautiful day, cuz I say so!!!

LOL, El Dee, you remind me of my son in law.

We all live in Yeast Texas and one time he went up the road a piece to Arkansas and had to call and tell us he'd seen a beer drinking pig and a parakeet walk a tightrope - like wire.

I think he must have been joining that pig in drinking the beer!!! LOL!
