This is a little odd. I have two manual batteries, one green LED, and one blue. I pull out a VG WOW Chocolate Carto and put it on my blue batt. Nothing. So I pry the post on the cart and still nothing. O.K. pry the post on the batt. Nothing.

So I try the same carto on my green batt, and it works:?:. O.K. So I clean the blue batt, and try again, still nothing. So it's the battery, right?

You would think, but just for the hell of it I try a Cool Cart Blueberry on my blue batt, and it works:?::?::?:??? I also have a WOW Cherry Cordial, and that one works. So I put that VG Chocolate back on the blue batt one more time. Still doesn't work. So I put it back on the green batt. It works:facepalm:.

What gives??? My blue batt doesn't like VG??? I don't get it.

there are some slight inconsistencies with the manufacturing process. the center post isn't making contact. sometimes you can pry it up, sometimes the threading on the carto is messed up. the metal threading of the carto is generally weaker than the metal threading on a battery, so you can kinda force it to a certain extent. i have this issue currently with some of my kr808 stuff. make use of what you can, toss what you can't. i've had some 5 packs of cartos have 3 essentially doa. there's no iso type standard for e-cig stuff, and some of these poor overworked people make mistakes.

That's what I meant Jmpublius sir. :) Thank you for giving me a project until the stealth batts arrive sir.

Ninjindustries sir pulling up the post on the batt usually fixes that issue. Snow sir has an excellent video showing how to do that in the stickies section (would post the link, but copy and paste is a pita on this phone).

JM..where's the mystery? The blue batt likes the blue carto! LOL..Really I have no idea but sometimes it happens. I have a couple of cartos that only like certain batts. I am dealing with Peppermint cartos that seem to be too short, there is a large gap betweem the carto and the batt even screwed down tight. They won't work well on the pink batts but work well on my chrome batts.

It was fully charged at 6:30 when I was having the problem with the one carto. As far as I can tell, it's working with all other cartos. Problem is, I've used it maybe 3-4 times since then, and now it's giving me 3 blinks and stopping when I'm in mid-drag. The same thing you see when you screw it on the charger. I know it does the 20 blink thing when the batt's dead, but what does 3 blinks indicate? It's going dead?

I've had the same thing happen to me. I noticed that the battery, in which I was using was one of those, that had the Black button on it. Certain cartos will not work at all on that battery, but will work on all of my other batteries, that have the regular Gold button. That's why I didn't ever buy anymore of those batteries, with the Black buttons on them, because of the problem that I was having with certain cartos not working on them. It seems like the threads are different on the ones with the Black buttons. They act like they don't want to screw on all the way.

Only problem with that is . . . my button's gold.:glare:

I'll probably contact CS after the weekend move. It doesn't seem to be holding a charge very well. My other manual that arrived at the same time is alive and kicking, and that's why I can tell something's up.

I think the vaping gods are telling me I need to buy a couple of those sleek new stealths for backups.
