So you give your mod a Big Squonk, and then to get that Tiny Dry Hit taste out of your mouth, you do a Massively Heroic, 9 Second, vape Expo style Lung Hit.
But as you Start to Exhale, you Realize that something is Horribly Wrong.
And as you Spew Out a Phone Both size hit of Welding Fumes and Burn Marshmallow Smoke, the dawning sets in that the Tiny Dry Hit you got a second ago Wasn't because you had forgotten to Squonk.
It was Because your Squonk Bottle is Empty.

I like my kanthal coils, but thanks for the suggestion Dave! Considering the last dry hit I got was in 2015 I'd say I'm doing pretty good in that department.

Was rebuilding and didn't bother to take battery out. Long story short: 1 finger on coil, 1 finger on fire button.

Some of my worst moments occurred as I vaped the last drop out of a wick and it burned the wick in two. YeeowWW!

It's only happened to me Twice. Once when I was Very New to Squonking. And once again about 6 Months ago.
I can close my eyes and still See the look on the Cat's face as I go Screaming down the hall Hoping, Praying, Begging to Every Higher Power I have every known that there is One Swallow of Milk left in the Frig.
What's worse than a dry hit? When you don't realize you burnt the tip of your dripper on the hot coil when priming/pulsing. Lesson learned!
I had one so far, I was trying to turn my wattage down on my steampunk, but it scrolls from 7 watts (lowest setting) right around to 120 watts, which I did not realize. I still can call to mind the taste (unfortunately) and it was So Not Fun. Lesson learned about checking specs and wattages, LOL.

I really don't understand why all variable voltage/TC mods can't just go from 1 to whatever volts/watts/degrees it's designed for. It's all synthesized from available battery voltage and electronic voltage regulation algorithms. You have to wonder who decides what the min and max will be in the controlling software. There seems to be no standard.
All my isticks and Picos do 1 to max. The Smok Alien does 6w to 220W. Why not 1 to 220? Just me, I guess.
Luckily for me, I prefer burnt cotton, molten metal Vapes. I'm thinking of starting a juice company.
Yeah, I have too much human error potential to input for me to advance in vaping. I need a mod that questions my intentions. Realizes that if it's 5am, bad decisions are made.
If it knows that my coil is 1.8 why allow me to fire it @ 200w?
If I put an SS coil on and vape @ 8w, why can't I just click to send that info over to TC?
