Northern NJ native , Coastal NC now.
+ 1 on the Nautilus mini or full size , vape the same to me with BVC's .

The overwhelming majority still vape low wattage despite the sub ohm popularity . Sub Ohm is not new at all actually , been around from the beginning.

Manufacturers are just making a ton of money with the tanks these days because most new vapors don't know there is any type of vaping other than sub ohm and high wattage .

herb you are right. I do like the nautalis too, and I knew people were sub ohm some time ago. The sub ohming is very different, and enjoyable. But I like the taste of 12 nic too much and won't ever stop I think.

I vape 12 mg nic juice if the coil is >1 ohm. At 0.5 ohm or below, I find 6 mg nic juice to be more than enough, (since the volume of vapor is higher), and at a high temp, the throat hit is still there. Overall, I just prefer the sub ohm vaping experience.

To each his own, though.

I'm sub ohming and 1+ and going back and fourth between the two things. I love them both, they are so different from each other. And I guess I like that lol. What are your thoughts on the topic? Thanks...live to vape, Vape for life.

I like my rum, but I like my non alcoholic sparking wine too.

Vic, in my bag presently ( I have probably 400 mods, don't ask how many toppers, yes it's a problem:)) I have an innokin vtr with a cartotank at 3 ohm,24 mg nic, an eroll kit, a ZMax with an orchid tank at 1.5 ohm, 12mg, a SVD 2.0 DNA with a kayfun at 1.2 ohm,6mg, a ipv 3 li with a 28mm tobh rda at .2 ohm 3mg, and lastly a kanger 200w with a zenith rba at .3 ohm, 3 mg.. It's my light carry :).......I guess my point is it depends upon the vaping experience one wants to have at a given time ......I don't think the new vapers will ever experience the flavor/ Vapor/ and slow pleasure of a cartotank at 3 ohm with 24 mg nic, and that's a shame , NY 2 cents

Yes we are all different, that is the beauty of life. Unfortunately for me 6 gives me a headache, and at just 35 watts. I noticed that there's no throat hit with sub ohming really. I'm hooked on that, did 18 for 5 years all day lol

What I described as a "throat hit" at 0.5 ohm and below might really be more the sensation of the warm vapor hitting my mouth and throat, (especially as the TC ramps up), at the temp I'm using. Anyway, it works for me. I've zero desire to smoke, which is what's really important.

Yeah we don't want the smoke! Glad you don't either. I'm just trying to understand it all. So you say with the tc you get more throat hit with warmer vape?

Yep. I'm using a 0.2 ohm nickel coil right now and don't like to go below 500 deg F. The warmer temp of the vapor also simulates smoke slightly more, imo.

Ymmv.
