It may just be me but i was always annoyed with the skirt/cap area of the ZAP being gray in color and not matching the stainless steel color of the rest of the ZAP or the Provari for that matter.....

So i got bored, Unscrewed the skirting area ( though i am sure you can do this without removing that area ) and placed it in my drill and just ran some sandpaper across it with my drill on high and BAM!

Now it matches!

Well i loosened up the glue that holds the skirt onto the ZAP ( pictures below ) even a strong twist and the glue will loosen up and the skirt ( as i call it ) will come loose and it unscrews off.

I then just take a bolt and washer, put it thru the hole in the skirt and pop it into my drill chuck. It actually makes the Z-Atty Pro more versatile and able to use in other devices, but the device its used on must have a adjustable or floating center pin.

You can actually use that skirt as a type of a Hippo cap but the only problem is, Your attached rba/rda/Carto/Etc needs to have long 510 threads because when you screw on the skirt to the threads, It sometimes wont allow it to reach and make contact with attached device.
