I think we've all experienced that to a degree...2 weeks off of cigs, I felt like I never needed them again, and pretty much felt that way for the first couple months of
vaping. Then, out of nowhere, a vape wouldn't satisfy me, and my mind would instantly say "well, you need a regular cigarette instead". But it always passed, and the more you let it pass, the quicker it generally goes (probably due in part to the nicotine inhaled shortly after, lol).
Anyway, I think I had a craving last week, and it lasted a good day or so, but I was feeling very stressed out and tired with life, and during those times, that psychological addiction to the cigarettes plays with your mind a little bit. That connection you had with analogs will never go away 100%, as you weren't addicted to just the nicotine, but the act of smoking itself.
vaping is a close substitute and ultimately just as satisfying (not even to mention the health benefits), and most of the time that's enough for your mind once the focus of your cravings becomes vaping (lol), but there might still always be that draw somewhere in the back of your mind to go back to analogs, and it tends to creep up at the worst times.
Vape on!
