Well yesterday I tried to make a post. Spent like 30 minutes on it. It logged me out during that period and lost every thing I wrote. Today again I spent 30 minutes making a post only for me to lose it all. Never been to a forum or even a website that logged me out so quickly. Actually the only website that times you out so quickly would be a banking website. But that's for security purposes. I find that odd that a forum will log you out so quickly.

Any ways from now on when posting on this site I'll just pre-write everything in wordpad. This is gonna be short, to the point, and probably full of grammatical mistakes and spelling. As I've already spent too much time attempting my last post and the one before that.

So I got an electronic cigarette in December. The first atomizer I had in their for a couple weeks before I changed it for a lower resistance atomizer. Which lasted over a month when I just decided to buy a new one and some extras. So it could have lasted longer. I was told they only last at best a couple weeks. So considering mine were lasting long past that time. I decided to try out the new ones and see if it tasted any different and I just wasn't noticing it. And it had actually gone bad. I put it in their and nope it tasted the same. Kept it in their. After only a couple days the liquid started changing colors. As I only use one liquid flavor and it's clear. It turned from clear to a dark yellowish transparent color. The next time I used up all the liquid. I took everything a part. Cleaned it. Put it all back together. Put the liquid in their. And it was clear again.

Until a few hours later when it starting going back to this dark yellowish color. It didn't taste different. Just was changing colors like it was being tainted by something.

Well a couple days after that the strong peppermint taste disappeared. Was replaced with a hard to describe taste. I guess if you took a metal, plastic, and rubber taste and mixed them up. It would be hard to pinpoint what exactly it tastes like. It doesn't matter though cause it doesn't taste great and no matter how many times I run out of liquid and fill it up again. No peppermint.

I kinda lived with this taste for a couple days until now. But my taste buds are trying to tell me that whatever you are consuming can't be healthy. I'm assuming that taste is a result of the atomizer burnt. I run it at a pretty low voltage any where from 3.5 to 3.6 with an ohm resistance of 1.8. So it's not user error. Especially considering it was dying within only a couple days.

The store I bought it from was a bit sketchy any ways. It didn't come in the original packaging. Just like how they sell everything. Like they just take everything out of the package and put them on display and they sell you what you see. Which is ......ed. I don't want to buy the crap on display. That's pretty sketchy. I'm pretty sure you wouldn't go into best buy to get a TV and they hand you the TV that's on display. Hell no.

$3.00 for an atomizer that lasts a couple days. We're at the point of it costing just as much as cigarettes.

Question: What online store do you guys recommend to buy reputable decent atomizers?

The juice in the tank gets discolored over time. And it you keep refilling, it tends to get thicker too. That is pretty normal. Now you can see why your should clean your tanks out occasionally. It is just a maintenance thing.

I heard that atomizers last from a week to a month. Hopefully you have a tank with a replaceable atomizer head so you don't have to replace the tank, just the atomizer head.

Most people these days are buying tanks/clearos etc with either replaceable or rebuildable heads. This makes it much easier to completely take them apart and clean. It is also cheaper if you learn how to dry burn to clean the coils every so often. You just buy the little atomizer heads and replace as needed. When my juice gets that brown icky look it is time to clean.

It happens over time. The juice is aging kinda, It's not a bad thing. But as for your atty heads, it would be nice to know what kind you are using. For instance, Im using Kanger Aerotank heads, I don't replace my attys anymore i just rebuild them. Doing so, You can use cotton which improves wicking and flavor. Also instead of buying new heads, you just pull the cotton out of your rebuilt coil and swap it out for another piece of cotton. Simple as that and your atty is rebuilt, It's not as hard as you think really to rebuild atty heads, Just go online and look around youtube an people have done videos showing you step by step how to do it.

It's a great way to save money on parts and you learn more and more by trial an error. Plus, a bag of organic cotton will last you a Verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry long time Lol, I mean so long you could probably never buy atty heads until your tank breaks for whatever reason and you'd get another tank before you got more atty heads.
