He is correct. When I think back 12 years ago and look at that vintage
device (yes, I kept it for nostalgia) I say wow we did come a long way. Despite the negativity we did win. In 2008 or so I used that vintage
device and I didn't quit. Fast forward to 2014, a new device and I did quit. I won a 46 year long battle with combustibles. I will never understand the criticism of harm reduction. Is BT and Pharma locked into politicians wallets? We developed these products with knowledge, science and safety in mind. We needed to find a way to quit combustibles. And alot of us did. But, money and 'moral authority' wins over common
sense and science almost every time. We will continue to fight for our right to quit combustibles. Hats off to the innovator's, scientists, harm reduction advocates for having the guts to help smokers quit. Isn't that the goal? Keep fighting. I want other combustible users to have hope that 'This time it will work'.
