In the end, everyone is different, our bodies all work differently. Some people, like me, have very active metabolisms and struggle to put weight on, some folks are the polar opposite. Do what works for you! Indulging in a ridonculous giant peanut butter cup on occasion? Have at 'er! One isn't gonna kill you, not by a long shot.

I'd mash it up into a tub of ice cream and cover it in maple syrup

I lol'ed.

That's something even i wouldn't attempt. way beyond my personal boundaries.

YouTube video opportunity!

The maple syrup gives it Canadian content , as per forum rules ;)

My metabolism flipped me the bird and buggered off to Aruba around age 30.

Me around 38.

That burger in one of the photos......I can still go out and eat that. Just that I have to cut it in half, or take the top off, otherwise, I will probably gain some weight.

Of course, I'm not playing tennis 3x a week or running anymore. You have to cut things somewhere when you get past 40.

also not worried about chemicals in food, seeing as it is in our clothes and the air... everything will kill you now a days.

I'm not worried about dying. I'm worried about living with chronic health problems that catch up to you when you don't take good care of yourself when younger.

I see it everyday with friends.....diabetes, heart disease, emphysema, obesity, cancer, arthritis. Not fun at all.

I have come to see that lifestyle makes a HUGE difference in how you are going to end up spending your "later years".

Try that at 45-50-55 years old or so....... and get back to us. ;)

No problems there.

Age 17 weighed 250.
Age 18 140 - got very sick
Ages 19-25 an increase of 10lbs a year and only due to high calorie intake.
26-30 no change.

Apparently my digestive track is like a speedway.

Geez Mindfield.......You put it on raisin toast; that's how.

Apropos of nothing, I was in a gas station over the weekend and saw this monstrosity. I had to buy it, because I thought that it represented exactly why we have such an obesity problem these days.

Half. Pound. Peanut butter cup.

I don't even know how I'd go about eating this, never mind whether I will or not.

The ridiculous thing? The nutritional information on the back shows that it's 190 calories ... per 1/6th of the cup mug. Why 1/6th? How do you even divide this thing up into sixths? Slice it like a cake? Why do they insist on showing calorie count for an impractical portion of the whole?
