I was always told if you don't need to pee then your not getting enough water. From what little I know some of the ingredents, pg,vg will dry out your throat, so you need to keep drinking water. Your not really ingesting anything but letting the membranes in your mouth absorbs the nicitine. Kinda like the gum they sell. I don't know if I helped or not. I'm sure others with more experience willl chime in.

We all know that the vapor is water vapor (that's what makes it visible). We should also realize that we are not putting water in from our PV (I think that was your question).

The water vapor we see is from the water taken from our bodies.

This is why it is so important to keep ourselves well hydrated.
This will cause us to P more, but the important thing is to realize that it is not how often we go, it is that as we dehydrate, our urine will become darker. (as in the morning).
Excess water is not a problem for healthy people. The body just 'passes it along'. Lol

That is wrong. The water vapor we see and inhale is not water taken from our bodies, but it is the liquid that is vaporized from our pv. Liquids as in pg, vg, nicotine, flavoring, etc. We tend to urinate more because of the non-nutritional vapor/liquid we are taking in with our vaping. For our body to relieve waste from eating solids, drinking liquids, and vaping liquids it has to urinate and have regular bowel movement. We tend to hydrate ourselves more with vaping because we tend to use the bathroom more often than before.

ITG, my prior comment is correct, as are the comments from others. PG and VG are humectants, water attractors, hygroscopic, meaning "the ability of a substance to attract water molecules from the surrounding environment through either absorption or adsorption".

You need to drink water when vaping to avoid dry mouth/throat, due to the action of the VG and PG pulling water out of their surroundings.

I run into something similar diving -- SCUBA air is very dry, I have to drink water after a dive.

There seems to be some confusion here, so let me clarify...

What we exhale is really NOT water vapor...
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...905-vaping-myths-we-exhaling-water-vapor.html

It is basically fog, which is water condensed around PG and/or VG liquid.
Not much different than normal fog, which is condensed around dirt or other particles in the air.

The water in the vapor (fog) comes from both our bodies, and the water in the air around us.

And yes, because of these processes, vaping robs our bodies of water.
Vaping steals water away from us, and uses it to produce nice pleasing clouds.

So drink more water.
Period.
:)
