DevilFish, it sounds as if you'd do yourself a favor by actually taking a slower route off real cigarettes. If you only smoke 3 or 4 real cigs a day, that's no big deal. Just switch things around for awhile. Instead of 3 or 4 real cigs, smoke 3 or 4 e-cig sessions of about 15 minutes. Then stop e-smoking. You are undoubtedly producing large amounts of lactic acid as propylene glycol breaks down. That's not good. Slow down. You're also worrying more than you need to. For awhile, allow yourself to follow your desires. You want a cig? Have one.
Very, very few cigarette smokers succeed the first time they try to quit. E-smoking is a big advance in helping smokers quit, but it might not be the instant answer for you. Take your time adjusting to it. It is different from real cigarettes, as you've learned. Slow down and learn to enjoy the better taste of e-smoking.
