I am visiting Reoville trying to decide if a Reo is right for me. Not mechanically inclined or eager to rebuild anything so I've stayed with vv vw and tanks for a year. But here's the girl part, I keep looking at the Reos because they are so gorgeous! I love wood and as another hobby collect hand turned wooden bowls and boxes so naturally they caught my eye. What do you think, can a MVP/evic/nautilus/protank girl handle a Reo??

Most people on the forum seem to think I am male, which is funny to me. I think it's my dog <--- Her name is Violet and we are a foster home for rescue pit bulls and mastiffs. Our current foster is a white pit named Porcelena, she is pretty manly looking too. Maybe it's a theme around here!

I think you would love a REO. The woods are wonderful. But the metal Grand is my choice for any new Reonaut. It will stand up to any abuse and last a lifetime.

The ease of use and durability make it the perfect PV. Add a RM2 and you can build coils to suit your style of vaping. A win for sure!

Some have began their REO use with a wood REO. They are meticulously handcrafted and hardy. They are also beautiful!

Whatever you chose, you owe it to yourself to get a REO and see the REO difference!

I was MVP to Reo convert myself. At first the thought of rebuilding appalled and frightened me. Looking at that tiny little space of something like the Protanks...NO WAY do I consider that a fun adventure. I still don't rebuild those type of tank coils. The RM2, however is a piece of cake, IMHO. It's a small area, but open and visible. And there's some very comprehensive, easy to follow videos and picture tutorials in the stickies at the top of the page.

Even if building doesn't excite ya, cartos work great on the Reos, too. I haven't tried them, I have some for "emergencies," I really ought to give one a trial run one of these days. What drew me to the Reo was the constant fiddling with my tanks and clearos (leaks, gurgles, dry hits, sometimes all at once, ugh! so many qtips and paper towels, lol!). I just wanted EASY and satisfying and a helpful, cohesive community. Asked folks over here (just like you), they said I found the right place, and I made my home here.

bullies in all their variations are the loves of my life. my mastiff passed away last October, she was the only foster besides Violet that I found I just could not part with. I even miss the mastiff slobber!

Hey, I'm pushing 60 myself, pushing it pretty hard in fact, and I love my mechs and RBA's. I've taken some crap from the men in the vaping community for it, but since they don't interest me in the least I feel quite free to ignore them and vape on in peace.

I wanted to work in a vape store, but as it turned out they only hire hot looking 20something women for that because they want to sleep with them, not because they know anything about vaping hardware. In fact, if they did know anything about vaping hardware they might not get hired, because that's regarded as male territory by those who own the stores. Another reason they hire hot looking young women is that they bring in all kinds of men who spend lots of money there just to flirt with them and impress them.

Jump on in and get one!!! I'm not a tinkerer, and i don't enjoy rebuilding. I build some pretty lame coils when I *have* to. they vape like gold. I definitely think you can handle, and will love a reo.

I had the same concerns about getting a REO and have been looking at them for awhile. I didn't plan on getting a woodie, but naturally followed the threads and picked out my favorites. I checked out Rob's site not quite an hour after the sale started and one of my picks was still available so I took that as a sign and snagged it! No. 2 is on its way

I studied the rebuilding threads, ordered my wire and the Artistic Wire Gizmo. My REO arrived and with great trepidation I made my first coil, put in the cotton and got to squonking. WHEE! It was easy, fun and well worth it! I'm manual tool challenged - a hammer in my hand is more of a danger to the wall and my thumb than the nail. You can do this.

I guess I fit in here, my initials are JK. I'm Joyce aka Joy. I just had my 6 month vaperversary and my 57th birthday is in 2 weeks. A REO was going to be my husband's present to me . I'm not sure how I'll explain the 2nd, except to show it to him, I think he'll like the wood too.

The guys in Reoville are a bunch of sweethearts. In Reoville, owning mechs and building coils is a gender neutral hobby, you will find everyone here to be extremely helpful. If you don't have a REO, get one at your earliest convenience, you will love it. My name is Donna. I've watched the Reos for years but never felt they were quite right for me. For a long time I wanted nothing to do with anything that wasn't regulated. Getting into rebuildables and mechs changed all that.
Long story short.. micros with cotton and the RMs came out and I felt that the time was right. Watching one of super_x_drifter's videos sealed the decision. I still love my provaris/kayfuns and my Rollers but the Reo/RM2 is everything I hoped it would be and more I was anxious about buying a woodvil because I bought a vv woodvil a couple years ago and couldn't use it because the odor made me sick... but I took a chance and am thrilled to be able to use my wenge/cocobolo

I will be 48 at the end of this month. Happily married to a great man who totally supports my vaping. I have a daughter in college and a son in high school. I work as a surgical tech at my local hospital.

Since I now have everything that I want and much more than I need.. I've turned my attention to buying inexpensive eGos and evods, rebuilding the evods and loaning them out to my smoker friends.

I'm happy to finally be part of the Reo family

But I was swayed by the notion of laws changing and being without a way to vape legally. So I stocked up on nic and started paying attention to what it would take to have vape gear that would last.

My first RBA was the A-7. Ordered through a co-op and the cost was about $8. Picked up a little bit of wire and with cotton for wicks I was all set. Wasn't long before I had a Reomizer also.

The first coil I built worked!! It vaped well and I was satisfied that I had myself set if online ordering for atomizers was no longer possible.

Now I run RM2's on the majority of my REO's.

It's funny reading these posts and picturing all of us sitting around a big table with our RM2's, wire and wicks building coils!

Screw the quilting bee! Us mature women wrap wire and talk DIY juice, ohms and drip tips while we fill the room with vapor!

Well I'm not much inclined to get a Reo, I'm not into box mods. I like my tube mods with a top side button. Never could get comfortable with the bottom button mods. I've been using a Sigelei 24 for months now, and I'm liking that, but I'm thinking of getting the Poldiac 1 for 1 clone.

Different strokes for different folks. I got into dripping with my Provari but that's not so easy to take on the road (don't drip & drive). I didn't want a box mod and that was another reason I hesitated to get a REO, but I really wanted the convenience and dripping flavor. I thought a grand would be too large for my baby hands, so I went with a 490 and it fits well. My second REO is a mini woodie, which I debated about because of the battery size, but it's so pretty (ebony/birdseye maple) that I decided to get it anyway. I still love my Provari and use it daily to to change up flavors to suit my mood and keep my taste buds fresh. I'm happy to have both mods. It sounds like you are happy with yours. All is good.

So I've been called a granny since the day I married my husband....I was 30 then, and to this day, have no grandchildren by blood (thank goodness). But it only took me a few days to get used to it.
