This Screwdriver is killing me!

Hello Everyone!

Ok so I just recived my Screwdriver MKii in the mail from TW.When I put my 510 atty on it's not vapeing well at all..... Now thinking that its the atty because it is new, I stuck it on my regular battery, and its fine? So then I was thinking maybe it was the 901 to 510 converter.... but when I put the 901 on it, it sucks too!?!?!?!?! am I missing somthing? but I thought this thing was supposed to be amazing and its really letting me down!

I would love any kind of help here!

I know its not something you want to do (when its BRAND NEW) but, have you put a voltmeter on the battery to see how many volts (3.7-4.2?) its putting out ?

I'm sorry to hear that! I bought a screwdriver clone from domestic vapor and I haven't had any issues with it. I prefer to use it with the adapter and 510 cartos and this bad boy works like a champ.

This may sound like a dumb question but is the battery fully charged? When my battery gets low, it doesn't hit as well...

Whatever the problem is, I hope you can get it resolved, and fast!

Yeah, both battery's are fully charged! I just cant figure this out!!!!


Should I just order somthing else? any recommendations? Im deff a throat hit person so I love the 510! so anything that gives me tons of vapor and an amazing throat hit would be good to know about!!!!!

SB @ 3.7/6v or BB @ 3.7v with 510 carto's works a treat for me.

Not bought anything new for ages since I got these 10 months ago.

I pick up the stick or my screwdriver for the best throat hit...I can't really tell a difference between the 901 or the 510..they both work really well for me. I have noticed that Ms. T's liquids produce a ridiculous amount of vapor on the 901 though...seriously it's almost too much vapor, if that's even possible

Not bought anything new for ages since I got these 10 months ago.

I was thinking about the SB, but I dont know that much about mods, and I'm reading about the possibility of exploding? so not sure if I want to go through with that order or not.....

Had this poblem with my screwdriver mkii too. Noticed it was the adapter (901-510) both of them were bad. I ordered new ones and it worked like a charm. But seeing as your 901s don't work well on it either it may be a body defect- bad connections. Email them and let them know, they will repair or replace it but you'll probably have to pay shipping

Oh another thing--- make SURE your switch is installed correctly. The screw's flat head goes into the body, the threaded end sticks out, the spring goes over the threaded end ofyhe screw and the button screws on ontop of the screw

ANOTHER THING-- you MAY need to pull the spring out a little. Before my adapters went bad mine had the same problem where both 901 and 510s weren't working and I really thought it was broken and nearly spent 50 dollars on a new body but I pulled the spring out a little bit (stretched it some) and BAM! Hit even harder than right outta the box. Try that an d let me know what happens! Hope I helped!

If those tips don't help, also try wiping the threads (body and atomizer fitting) with a Kleenex.

I absolutely second this. The screwdriver is a solid device but can get fussy and finnicky if the threads are not kept clean. Seeing as e-liquid is not a very good electricity conductor- it will get in the way of a good clean connection sometimes. This would be the most easy thing to check for as well. Just use a q-tip dampened with a bit of isopropyl (aka rubbing) alcohol with the battery taken out and give everything a good clean off.

My screwdriver worked fine with 901 atty.bought a tornado from tw for my wife .after seeing it in action sold the screwdriver and bought a tornado for me .
