Dripping with screwdriver mkII

Hey Guys, noob here,
I recently got a screwdriver mkII from totally wicked. I just started dripping but for some reason i think i may be doin it wrong. I know everybody says drip 2-3 drops of eliquid and no more because you might flood it. It seems like 2-3 is not enough. I don't get good vapor, I don't get the throat hit and it actually seems like i'm not inhaling much at all. It only works once i've put 10 or so drops in it. I'm using the 901 atty by the way. any suggestions?

I don't drip, so I can't help ya.
Just wanted to bring this question back up the line so maybe you can get some help.
