Good morning Pokey, Bov and Papa. I'm having a great day so far. Only about 25 customers with small fast simple transactions and I've visited with several for like 20 minutes each. I love it when you and your customer has time to visit and catch up with each other. :)

That reminds me of a customer of mine, who was a bit gruff and rough. He and I were talking and he was using a lot of "hell" and "damn" in his sentences. A female customer didn't like that so she walked up to him, didn't say a word, but gave him the evil eye. At first, he ignored her, but she wouldn't go away, so he looked at her and yelled "what the (F-word) you looking at". She looked shocked and I thought that she was going to pass out. LOL

I have a guy that is gruff and he has absolutely no patience for smooth talking, he wants straight and to the point brutal honesty.

He has gotten ...... with every person here. The first time I met him he was angry because his account was overdrawn. I told him I'll find the bank error and we will get your money refunded too you. I found the error he wrote his $30.00 deposit as $300.00 in his checkbook.

Then he was humbled and thanked me for my help. I said you need to tell me a good joke so you can leave me laughing and thinking your a nice person. He said I don't know any jokes, What's your name and I said I'm Precious for helping you with a smile when you were ranting and raving and then you don't even know a good joke to tell me. He laughed called me Precious and promised me a joke later.

12 years later, I'm the only person here he likes, he still calls me Precious and tells me a filty dirty joke everytime he comes in. LOL He likes to shock me but he is a sweetheart to me just not anyone else. He once told me he appreciated my honesty and sincerity and he doesn't have time for the BS from others. :D

The guy that I mentioned, put up a white picket fence on his property. The neighbors complained that "we don't put up fences on this street". His response was to paint the fence purple. The neighbors complained even louder, so he painted his house purple. That shut them up. LOL

P.S. That's a good nickname for you, Princess, because you are precious.

He is funny but big, ornery and just plain looks mean and mad at the world. One night at a ballgame he was debating something with another man heatedly, I think they enjoy it. :) Anyways I was going to the concession stand when I saw him, I walked up to him, he is 6'4" I'm 5'3", I poked him in the chest with my finger and with the meanest look I could muster I said "You don't know what the hell your talking about!" When he looked at me his face completely changed to almost friendly and he laughed out loud. We talked a minute and then I hugged him and went on to the concession stand. He is a very honorable man but most people can't see through his gruff exterior to see the real person he is. :)
