Man oh man!!!! 36 tons of gravel is a sheet load!!!!!! Done and paid as well!!!!!!!

Pretty sure when I first sat on the tractor I disturbed a litter of spider babies....Whatever the deal e ohh I can't count the bites and they're itching like hades!!!!!!! This all began yesterday after I loaded the tractor...Whatever the critter it's a crawler as too the best of my wreck ohh lection I've had my shorts on most of the day...Combined with 5 fire ant bites from the junk yard....well....My azz is tore up!!!!!!!!

I'v not surfed by the ProV site....10 to 1 I get sticker shock...This situation is already putting my vape in a bind....2 hellhammer PVs rocking and now only one....DANGITT!!!!!!!!!!

LD!!!!!!!!!!! That sounds like chigger bites to me lol I would just about bet $ on it from what I bolded above. You could use clear nail polish but since I suspect that you have none, put alcohol on the bites. Sweet relief. Those darn chiggers like me too and will eat me alive if I just go out in the yard without repellent. There is nothing else that itches that bad! They tend to be in high grass and you never see them coming. Some call them redbugs. They do like the warm spots of your body

Hi everyone :)

5c,we're in Ashland,NH. Just below our White Mountains. Beautiful country.

I know. I have your address. I looked at the area. It's beautiful. You have to go a far piece to buy groceries huh?

Salem, long time no see. Good to see your back.

It must be the season to get bitten...I managed to go all summer with no bites...until today at work. Went out for lunch (outside) and I thought they were little gnats swarming around me, then OUCH! (nailed in the elbow) Go back inside, sit there bottling when WHAM! another on the upper arm. Dang! I saw the little sucker flying in front of me, I guess it followed me back inside.

From here on out I think I'll take lunch indoors.

Salem, It was so nice to pop on and see a visit from you! :) (((hugs)))

Everyone I hope you have a great rest of your night. I'm beat and can't wait for bed....Zzzzzzzzzzz!

Salem !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Around these parts red bugs/ chiggers love pine straw....Ask me how I know....I counted the bites in a 3x3 section of my upper leg this morning...17 ....SOAFB!!!!!!!!! These welts are much smaller than what I get from chiggers and some of the bites seem to be improving without doing anything....My best bet is whatever was on my upper leg is responsible for all 17 bites...All of the areas affected seem to have numerous bites clustered together....The itch is on par with chiggers...still betting heavy on spiders...A friend was bush hogging the other day and dang if the same didn't happen to him...My best bet is baby spiders...Either the tractor or Spike gave them a ride...Being my friend is experiencing it too I believe Spike may have gotten bitten when jumping on my lap...pay back for all those ticks he so graciously brought in for a visit...Spike seems over it ATM and I hope too follow shortly....

Once at a lumber yard an older guy saw me scratching...He asked....Chiggers???? I said yeah and he walked off...He came back with a small brown bottle with some serious age on it...It had an applicator under the lid and he instructed me to only dot the bites with the liquid...These bites were raging...One dot and it never crossed my mind again...I've no idea what it was and it's likely outlawed now....Kerosene or diesel fuel also kills chiggers...I prefer diesel cause I always got that!!!

All the monthlies are paid and all the Ranger parts are here...I began the day unloading the tractor....loaded the mower and went for gas after that....It was near dry and held $50 at a little less than a full load of fuel...That should make the year but who knows with this weather...Ya'll know how I feel about cops and I promptly got into an argument with my cousin about Ferguson...Hey I was pumping dang gas he started it....Mr. DUI and lost his CDLs comes out in support of the PoLeece...Must have forgot that split skull they gave him...Alcohol does tend to make one fergitt now...Left that dang cell phone home alone...The rest of this week is Ranger time...Maybe a little R&R as needed....Lots of R&R when the Ranger rolls out...

Edit** i read the dog skin link...thanks 5!! Spike's skin is likely a 10/10 according too the link....A small allergy issue but great skin...His welts look like my welts and are also clustered together...A few weeks back he was itchy but that was a little shedding...The vet raved about his coat the last she saw him...It's thick and shiny....We roll with Nutro Ultra and Greenies.....Lots of Greenies.....I'll pack a Greenie as well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stress relief!!!!

Well the mystery insect has revealed itself....baby ticks...Spike must have encountered them just hatched and nearly invisible...They feed quickly and drop off....then come back for more...I had an incredible itchy spot this morning and scoped it under magnification....A light tan dot....baby tick...The returning ticks had grown and were brown...I removed at least 50 from Spike....trust I'm on the way to the old school feed and seed for some "Kill "em All"....With this many bites I'll be damn lucky if I don't have Lyme's.....If it isn't one thing.....Bet this much....Some dang ticks are getting ready too DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh LD I'm sorry buddy. I hope and pray you don't get lymes or anything else from them. I'm glad you found out what it was. I don't think I could deal with a tick. I read that you have to back them out cause if the head comes off it keeps feeding.

Oh ElDee! I'm not trying to be a MOM or anything, but you should really see a doctor and get on an antibiotic with that many tick bites. Dang!

I stepped out back again to eat, the coast was clear....took two bites of my PB&J and the swarm began. I went back inside pronto! Shoot, I've been eating lunch out there every day that I've worked, why the heck are they a problem all of a sudden? I don't know what they are for sure (because I hate bugs!) but they just look like little gnats.

908 we got gnats aplenty....The taller the grass the more gnats...

Thanks for the concern.....5 I need all prayers possible Thanks!

Talked with someone whose dealt with deer ticks and he thinks that's what they are...In my mind still had to be a fresh hatch as there were just so many...I sprayed the suspected area with 15 gallons set on KILL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Spike had been paying particular close attention to certain little area so I paid extra attention there...Got me too thinking hatching ticks may emit an odor too attract a victim quickly...there was something there that smelled that I know....I got the sniff and pizz....world record holder in both style and number of bushes sprayed...Dog...Don't hate....He got fixed up first with an up close and personal tick removal....then an extra long bath with flea and tick shampoo...supposed to repel for a day or so...He's good...Gotta leash him and tote him through the poison zone to a tick free area when nature calls...I hope those damn ticks are dead.....and if they are bet this....I'll be having some more of that poison....
