I received my vamo in the mail yesterday. This thing is huge sitting beside of my ego twist and especially my beloved mini ego! haha. I have so many different set ups with the kangers and can't use any of them until my adapter gets here so I put an F16 boge on it that also was new and no matter what burned taste!! Used my last bit of every day liquid in it..........tried it on the twist and also tasting burnt....so perhaps it had a bad carto that came with it. Soooo, I dig out the the mini vivi nova I tried and wasn't fond of and now it's hitting! This thing is huge. Kinda confused about what to set everything on....so I've just been searching for what everyone else tries. :) This thing is huge! lol

Missed the part about it being bad on the twist, does sound like the carto if it was previously working on the twist and not now.

I don't like cartos, don't work for me; others love them.

People like the Kangers, they work for me too. Like the Vision V2 clearomizers and the tanks. I have a VVN knockoff I like better than the VVN because the coil head silicon doesn't flop over and let liquid in the center.

Check on here and everyone uses most of the varieties of heads.

Be sure you are in RMS mode, or "NO2", as it's displayed on the screen. It comes in NO1 mode (AVG mode) as default, so you need to manually change it. Running it in NO1 mode will most likely give you a burnt taste, as it usually means you're pushing way more power than you're actually setting it at.

You can change to NO1 (RMS) mode by pushing and holding the "up" button for about 10 seconds. (I believe you can accomplish the same, by using the "down" button.)

As far as I know, regardless of what version Vamo you have, this setting is always remembered after changing batts. So it's pretty much a "set it and forget it" thing.

I agree the vamo is big but the size is not that bad,but i just hate how heavy this thing is it reminds me in some way of those big heavy brass shutoff valves i just installed in my house.I just ordered a ss vamo just because i don't care for the weight of the brass one plus the ss vamo will be finger print free.
