Thanks man, so you just screw the top airflow all the way up and make your coil as low as possible?
This is a build I had on mine until recently. 6 wraps 24G N80 @ 3mm. The top of the coils are pretty much flush with the top of the posts. Not the screws, the posts. It sits just a lil below center of the airflow. You can squeeze 3mm coils in there, but barely. It doesn't really have the airflow for coils that big anyway. Gets SUPER hot. I recently rebuilt it with a single parallel 28G KA1 coil @ 2mm and 8 wraps that works a LOT better. Even with the single coil, I still open both sides up for more air. The top AFC doesn't really do a lot, but you can open it up ALMOST all the way with both these builds.
