I thought I didn't like fruit flavors. I received a sample of lemon-lime aid in one of my first orders and I HATED it, still do!

Jump to 7 orders later when I was checking out, I decided to ask for no more egg nog in the comments section, as I don't like that either. I asked if they could please throw a fruit flavor in. I thought I'd give something fruity another try. (if they obliged to my request).

Well, they DID! (I LOVE V4L) I got a banana and an apple/cin/cranberry.
I LOVE both of them!!! So good!

So..........I have a bunch of fruit flavors that I have to order now!!! I see all of these siggy's people have, including my own that says some BS about breaking even. Ha, yea right! I love it though and I am so thankful that I have found this site and V4L!

We will all break even and be way ahead since we won't have to pay medical deductibles and copays to treat our lung cancer and heart disease......that's the way I look at it. Buying ecig supplies is money well spent!

i went to the doc for a check up yesterday, and he was thrilled that i was using an e-cig. he said that the cancer risk is now gone, but that it is still not good for my heart, but a 100 times better than smoking.

That is awesome! I love to hear positive stories regarding people going to the dr.'s!
Is it the NIC that isn't still good for your heart? Or something else?

yes, he said the nic still isnt good for the heart. says that nic still constricts blood flow and makes the heart have to do more work.
nicotine is the most constrictive substance known. or so he says. he is a pretty good doc, so he prob knows what he is talking about.

The company I work for has done a couple health insurance reevaluations over the last couple years, and each time the form asks if you've used any "tobacco products" in the last X years... I wonder about how to answer that in the future, without risking some sort of extremely harsh slap-on-the-wrist later, in the form of denial of coverage due to misleading / withholding information, etc...

The totally honest answer to that would obviously be NO. There's no tobacco here. At all. But we all know how the insurance companies will twist ANYTHING to their favor, and the FDA et al have tried to classify these as tobacco products, even though theres no tobacco, so if they could make that case I'll bet they would... Idunno. I overthink things sometimes.

Hopefully by the time I've finally reached that X-years-point, the jury will officially be back on where these beautiful things fall.

Wait a minute, this is a thread about fruit flavors. Sorry! haha

That is an excellent point! If we can classify ourselves as non-smokers, I know that some of us would save on our insurance premiums.

This is definitely an issue that needs to be resolved either way. Assuming e-cigarettes keep gaining popularity, which I think they will, this is something insurance companies are going to have to deal with and quickly.
