So I've been an e-cigarette fan for two years now and just discovered mods yesterday. I've got a vertex copper mod with a four post copper dual coil rda, I think. I would like to know exactly what I have in my hand right now. If anyone can tell me how to post pics on here I'd be more than happy to show you so you can tell me what I've got.

Danger, Will Robinson...

I'm not allowed to post pics of what I have in my hand right now either, but if you get 5 posts you can click the image icon and it'll let you upload the image from your drive -- or you can upload it elsewhere and include an URL you may have to obfuscate (. com).

So to help get you your 5 posts, and because it'll come up; where'd this setup come from, and what batteries are you using?

you have a mechanical mod with what is probably a 3-post atomizer clone. There are many ways to post a picture, but the best way to show a nice inline picture in your post is to use some kind of image hosting. imgur is currently the fastest and simplest around. You don't need an account. Here is how to use it:
Find the picture that you want.... you might need to reduce it to a reasonable resolution for forum posts. 640x480 is a good size. save it somewhere like your desktop.
open imgur.com
drag the icon for your picture from your computer desktop to the imgur webpage, upload will start.
copy the displayed link labeled "BBCode (message boards & forums)".
now paste that link in your post here. Thats it!

I got it at a local shop and there is an imf 18650 high drain 35amp 2400 MaH. I was also looking at another forum and it described my mod as a mechmod. I think the wire being used in it is 24 guage.

The only rda I can think of off the top of my head with 4 physical posts is the Onslaught, a deck designed for tri-coil builds.

I can't imagine that a vape shop would start you out with this, so it is probably 3 posts with a center post that has two wire openings at the top, like the plume-veil, mutation-x, or many other similar rdas. Does it have airflow control on the top cap? What kind of screws do the posts use? Are there any unique logos on it? What does it say on the underside?

What do you mean by danger, will robinson?
He means that it could be dangerous that you are using mech mods with low gauge wire and don't know anything about it.

While you're sorting the images, do you have or have access to either a (1.) a multimeter (2.) a mod/apv/battery with an ohm meter builtin?

Quick note, because this'll also come up: the above is going to come up is because there are no 35amp batteries, but there are batteries that slapped their pulse rating rating on their label for reasons I can only guess at. You aren't expected to know this, but we don't know if your B&M knew this when they slapped together your coils.

Hey Copper! I'm in Meridian, just south of you about 1 1/2 - 2 hrs. Welcome to the board! I know absolutely nothing about what kind of mods, etc. that you have, so I'll .... out and leave you to the experts! Just wanted you to know you're not the only Mississippian in here! Welcome!:)

Every time I see that pix and your nick I can't help but visualize Bruce Wayne, higher than a kite, cape flapping in the windy Gotham wind
swinging on the batrope crashing into buildings while the boy wonder runs around with a batnet waiting for the bat to fall.

Did you know bats smoke. No ...... My mom used to put ciggies in bat's mouths when she was a kid.
They puff away like it's what they're supposed to.
Wait until I tell her they vape too. I can hear the old bat..err my mom laughing now.

Anyway, what do you mean by "Danger Will Robinson"?
It's the wrong show altogether, man.
Or did I miss an episode where Batman gets lost in space?

So it is a three post with two wire openings at the top, and it does have an air flow art the top cap three holes in each row and three rows. No visible markings or logos but it does have what looks like a heat sink on the top by the unusually large mouthpiece.there are four Philips head screws and no visible markings on the underside, however, on my mechmod it does say "The Boss Mod Intl. - 536 - Phillipines". And I do not have a volt meter, ohm meter, or a multi meter and it does say on the battery that it has a discharge rating of 35 amps and three is a sticker on it that is an authentication sticker with a serial number (sz12365).

Don't mind the nuts running around in here.... ;)

You really should have a meter of some sort if you plan on building coils. Also, a device that shows your ohms will work as long as the PV has protection from any shorts that may be in your coil build.

You can take all the mods in China, put 'em a big brown bag for me...Couldn't help it, man
You just made me dig out my Van Morrison album.

Welcome, copper. Y'all enjoy your stay, take your shoes off and hang loose.
I like tupelo honey, the honey and the song, a lot.

This for the powers that be, Big Brother:
...You can't stop us on the road to freedom
You can't keep us 'cause our eyes can see
Men with insight, men in granite
Knights in armor bent on chivalry

I do declare, that song brings tears to my eyes
