Yeah. Although I'm enjoying my 24g in my dripper. Maybe I'll go back to 28 and do a single parallel build. Of maybe I'll get the big truck and just build a Clapton haha
The problem with that is, these regulated mods have a certain resistance needed for optimal performance. You can't just wrap thinner wire to make the same surface area as lower resistance wire and expect it to be the same

Why? I rather like mine, especially for the price point.

The 100W istick definitely has a decent chip, finally. And you can get it for under $30.
Because 60w on my D2 certainly isn't the same 60w that I vape on my SX Mini. I'm going to try building for it with my Omega NI90 wire and see it that makes a difference.

It isn't outputting correct voltage? I'll have to test it I guess. I admit I haven't used 60W on either since I don't have the extension for the mini. Single battery and 60W sucks up batteries too fast for me.

The voltage reads the same on both mods however that doesn't mean it will read the same with an oscilloscope test.

I wish I could find a review where Busardo or somebody puts it under the microscope. It's definitely better since I built at a higher resistance but it's still not quite there.

And I also use my SX in dual battery mode so perhaps that's part of it as well.

All I can do is an inline volt meter.

Bang for buck xcube 2 hands down been using mine solidly for the last five days and it's been rock solid never missing a beat and with the latest update now goes upto 180 watts. As for battery drainer I'm getting a full day out of mine on four one year old 25r's at 20 watts on kanthal I get longer using tc. Yes the led is gimicky but it does grow on you lol and the firing bar makes it feel very natural to use, biggest downside for some is the weight it is not a lightweight mod by any means but I've not found it uncomfortable to use at all. I paid £42 for mine from fasttech and so far its been a brilliant purchase and smok are releasing updates on a regular basis and look like they are going to continue support. I only have ni200 at the minute will be getting some ss soon but temp control works very well and is accurate, longevity is the only unknown at the minute but it feels very solid.
Just got my Xcube today, even without batteries it's heavier than my backup istick 100w with batteries in it.

Liking it so far, played with the LED for a few minutes then turned it off. I do plan on picking up the Xcube mini as an out of the house mod once it's released.

So I should build in that optimal performance range that's on steam engine with that mod list?

Most mods have limitations on current and voltage. To low of a resistance and your mod may not be able to provide enough current, to high a resistance and it may not be able to generate high enough voltage. Thus creating the 'sweet range' for builds.

However keep in mind that the limitations are generally related to maximum output power.

First Hello everyone--just a quick note here. I utilize a T1 Clapton single coil of 32 g wrapped over 30g/3.0 diameter hitting at .5 ohm on my sx mini (single battery mode-Sony V4): My sweet spot is 14.7Jules at 325° in an authentic Kayfun v4 vaping a DIY Tribecca clone. Long battery life-top shelf flavor-great clouds. For me a Sx mini on a TI Clapton cant be beat.
I am shopping for a dual battery TC box mod to use at work-----any ideas??? I want to use 18650 's not LiPo packs. Also and very important I want to buy quality the first time I cant keep up with spending on inferior products, On a fixed budget here $220 or less. I'll be using it for years like my trusty Provari. Thanks
