So I'm only a week into vaping but I love it. I've only used the blucigs from the local 711 and I prefer vaping over analogs but I've already outgrown these blu disposables. As an entry level for someone like me would the halo triton be a good first step? It just seems like a simple first kit to use. Also any thoughts on juices be it quality or bang for your buck would be more than welcome! Since im not even a newbie yet lol

I think you can do better then the Triton as far as price and what you get if you went with an eGo kit. As far as juice, a lot of people seem to like Mt Baker Vapor - Electronic Cigarettes, USA made E Juice, and Accessories
I'm also new to vaping. I have only tried halo turkish e-juice none of the batteries or starter kits. The turkish tobacco was a little too sweet for me but still better than analogs. I plan to try their other flavors as they gave a ton of vapor and flavor.
I have had the triton for a couple of weeks and I really like it. Fast shipping good customer service. I got the tobacco sampler and I liked all of them.
I am fairly new to vaping and I picked up the Halo triton kit from a local B&M. Along with a couple bottles of Halo juices - Prime 15 and Tiki.
I am still very happy with the Triton kit, I even ordered another battery to use with it. I'm still loving the Tiki juice, but it is NOT for everyone

Like many have said here, you can get a lot more bang for your buck than the Halo Triton kit, but as far as easy, reliable, and very portable. It is hard to beat. I also like that it is a US company instead of Chinese.

Love the Halo Triton. Finally quit smoking within 5 days of getting the starter kit. You can buy cheaper batteries, tanks and e-liquid, but good luck getting them all to work together. Halo has done the research to find out what works best together. The tanks don't leak, the batteries- even the 650mAh ones in the starter kit, last all day, and their e-liquid tastes and vapes great- as far as I am concerned. Shipping times are also fast- they are in the US, and they make their own e-liquid, rather than re-packaging mystery juice from China. Haven't seen a bad review of the Halo Triton yet, even from 'professional' vapers.
Halo's Triton Tank system is greater than the sum of it's parts.
As stevegmu said, Halo engineered this e-cig to work extremely well. The ego-style batteries are top-notch, and the 650 Mah ones last far longer than they should. The T2-style clearomizers do not leak, and I've never had a burnt taste to one. The flavor is very good with them as well. I have one currently loaded with some Heather Heavenly Vapes Legend, and the flavor and vapor are just a tad lower than the protank, but the flavor doesn't fade over prolonged use.
Certainly, this set is a bit more expensive and you can find cheaper. But if you want quality goods, and a quality vape, The Triton Tank is a must have. Halo will also be releasing the Triton Variable Voltage battery within the next few weeks, which will add more value to this exceptional set.
Check out Spinfuel.com. They did a review of the Triton Tank upon release, and last week issued a follow-up article to check the durability and quality of the product. The reviews are still glowing.

for Halo Triton. I like ego sized for portable and the Triton batts are smaller in length than ego twists and last a good while. And they charge fast! Faster than my twists, so another thumbs up! The Triton clearo works great, no leaks. I do have to wipe off the top of the wick assembly for droplets once in awhile, but it is my favorite clearo. It works best full to 2/3 full so I keep mine topped off all the time. I have been using it daily for 3 weeks and still on first head it came with. Not bad! bnrk

Actually train so far the info I've collected seems tp point to halo not allowing theyre products to cross platform. Even tho I'd be hard pressed to believe someone won't be coming up w an attachment of some sort to make this possible
And thanks to the ppl who've posted some very helpful info. I've seen lots of great things but it seems some people have theyre favorites and aren't exaclty objective about other products lol
I tried to put the Triton clearo on my 510 threaded ego and it did not work, center post was too short I think to make contact. Anyone tried that? Did it work on a twist? bnrk
Very true. I have a bunch of different PV's so I have a collection LOL I have also tried the Volt 808 ego style batts, they are much bigger/longer than the 808 Triton batts and they do not have as much power as the Triton batts. They also take alot longer to charge.
I also have about 10 Twists, about 1/3 of them are not working. I have a couple VV egos that have 3 levels of power, they are still working. They do not last very long, they do take longer to charge, so I am waiting to try the Halo VV batts and see how it does. I also have 2 GLV minis, a set 3.7 volt device, they are very nice. I have a Provari too, my best unit. But for me I like lightweight and portable and the ego styles are my favs for that.
As for 808 connection vs 510 connection, easy to remedy with an adapter, I have several. bnrk

The tanks are 808 threaded, and the batteries are kgo threaded. They're not compatible with 510 devices, which is their only drawback.
Right, you definitely need an 808 to 510 adapter. I have one for my Triton batteries since I wanted to be able to drip easily to test new juices out. A standard 510 drip atty works on it no problem with the adapter. If you wanted to try to use the Triton clearos with a 510 device you would definitely need a 510 to 808 adapter, and even then I would be worried about the depth available for the ego style outer threads. I wouldn't count on them being the same depth as the true ego style ones are.

I just received my Triton kit today. I really like it, but the tanks are top coil and I have been using mostly bottom coil clearomizers. I forgot how "warm" of a vape the top coils are! I felt like I almost burned my lip! Just watch out for that, and you should be fine with the kit!
It has nothing to do with objectivity. It has to do with options. Try and find accessories for the Triton outside of the Halo site. And even if Halo sold everything you would ever want for the Triton, I've looked at a number of their items and many are usually out of stock.
I do not knock Halo devices. I've heard many good things about them. But for me, it comes down to options and availability. Will a Protank fit on the Triton? My first PV was a Volt X2. As soon as I realized that my options were limited, I switched to an eGo style battery.
Same boat as original poster started with Blu and went to Halo Triton, its has been easy to use and reliable. The parts may be proprietary but the prices are competitive.I have not had any problem finding what I need in stock up to this point. I have not had any wicking problems with any juice i have ordered so far. I found out that the PG juices did irritate my throat but that was solved by going all VG. I saw that members here say VG has less flavor so I am now using Mt Baker Vapor with extra flavor shots and I could not be happier. Many people on this forum are very advanced and want noobs like us to avoid their pitfalls and I do appreciate that but I don't think you will find anyone who has a Triton setup that will say its a mistake for novices like ourselves.
I've had a Blu, then a KR808D, now using an ego clone, still trying to find a good tank. Vivi nova mini is ok with cotton, (Stardusts?) are ok with cotton, taste funky initially. Have some Evods on the way, hope they are as good as everyone says. I look forward to trying them
I just want something easy to use, easy to carry, easy to fill, that works every time. I want something that allows me to taste the juices, not the burn. I want something that gives me a nice throat hit and produces clouds of vapor. Short of switching out a coil and charging the batteries, I want something that is maintenance free. The Halo Triton has more than met my expectations. I can afford any mod out there, but I simply don't want to put that much effort into vaping. If I am called a noob because I love a proprietary, branded 'kit' device, so be it. I'll be vaping while they are re-building something, or looking obnoxious holding a lightsaber to their mouth.
