Hello all! First post on forums, and was just hoping for some feedback on my recent purchase.
My current configuration is simple- Itaste MVP VV with an iclear30. I think the MVP is awesome, but I am ready to move on and try to experience a better mod and explore RDA's-RBA's (is there a difference? lol) I am in college and did not feel like spending large quantities of money on vaping, and I bought a totally new setup (Mod, batteries, atomizer, new heads for current tanks, and 150ml of juice) for a good deal.
The mod I bought is the Innokin SVD VV/VW for $37. Along with it, I bought a 1.2ohm Nimbus V5 RDA clone (which had good reviews, 4-airholes) and pre-wrapped 1.8ohm wicks with .18mm diameter 33AWG coils. (also had excellent reviews)

I am not new to vaping, but I am new to RDA's. I was wondering if you guys can tell me why the V5 I bought says its 1.2 ohms.. will that interfere with the 1.8ohm pre-wraps I purchased? Also, I use low nic content but good flavor is a must for me, and I do like producing large amounts of vapor as well. With that said, should I start off with single coil or dual coil?

Thanks in advance for the helpful comments and feedback, and if you have any advice for me on what I should do to maximize the vamping experience, I am all ears!:vapor:

Am I reading this right? You bought a 1.2ohm nimbus clone that already has a coil in it, as well as backup pre-wrappe 1.8ohm coils? If so, All that means is your coils.. every coil you make(or I guess buy) can have a different ohm value. IE.. my 3 nautiluses have 1.7 ohm, 1.8 and 2.0.. luck of the draw. Now, when I build my trident clone, in dual coil mode.. I get .8 ohms.. If I build it in single coil mode its usually between 1.5-1.8 ohms. All that means is the gauge of the resistance wire, the diameter, and the number of wraps are what effect the ohm value. As for starting off... I'd suggest single coil.. see if you like it.. try a double coil when you feel like a single coil isnt producing enough flavor or vapor for you. But I must say this.. If youre going to get into RDAs you might as well learn to wrap your own coils because its cheaper. and the art of it is actually fun.
