got one a while ago when they first hit the market.

I like it other than the o-rings provided are way too loose for the top cap. The deck screws also dont capture anything above 24g very well, which frustrates me because I want to use it with nickel builds.

Mine also came with a 510 pin that is extremely long. I cant use it with many mods bc of how long it is.

Ive used dual 24g 7 wraps 3mm id and it was very good.

I'm so tempted to order an Aeolus everytime I see it mentioned. Most of vendors updated the O-rings to the thicker black rings which is nice.
I would like to use it for dual nickel builds if I were to get one but if it can't capture it in the post holes that's a big negative.

To be honest, I never tried to capture through the post holes but it fastens very easy under these nice, large screw heads. It's better building this way anyway because you want the coils high, close to the airflow.

As for the O-rings, even with the attys that have the blue rings, black ones do come in the box. You can also order replacements from their site for $1 a set. To get the AFC O-ring, you have to request it in the comments.

I would also like to say that working with Syntheticloud customer service has been an exceptional experience. I lost my AFC ring because I never swapped the blue O-ring and thought I was out of luck because the replacement parts are sold out. Their management team worked with me for a week to locate a replacement for me. While I did have to PayPal $10 to them, it was my fault. It should be in the mail this week.

Sent from my HTC One M8 Harman/Kardon edition

Mine actually came with the afc o-ring that your talking about. And personally i love this rda, but i also think its stupid that they make you pay for better o-rings on there site when there well aware that the ones that come with it suck. Ive been wanting to buy them but im not going to buy just o-rings and have them ship them, seems pointless to me.

Is the 510 adjustable on the heat sink? It is extremely long and I would like to use it on my smpl or praxis mod
It is non adjustable. And i just checked it on my smpl and the button sticks out a little bit, not much but its not that great looking in my opinion. People still use them on the smpl though, i just got rid of my praxis or id check that too but i think it would work better on the praxis, but the button throw would be almost minimal at best.

It may not be long to some but to me on my mechs it is long especially since it kills most of the button throw. Here is a pic next to a derringer, which is the 2nd longest 510 pin i own at the moment.

Sorry I msunderstood. Its the bloody pin that is so long. That is nuts if its not adjustable. I guess wyou could gring it off a bit but would have to very precise to keep it level.
Oh thats what you meant? Lol oops sorry. Yeah i grinded down my tobh a while back but i just dont use the heatsink fins it makes it too tall and i prefer it smaller anyway.

I've been running the fasttech clone for a week or 2 now and it has been my go to atty. I currently have two Derringer (clones), a Marquis (clone) and I even received a Bambino (clone) yesterday that I've been lusting after for weeks, and they've all taken a back seat to this guy.

My only complaint about mine is that its a fasttech clone. There is NO adjustable airflow on the top cap (solid stainless), the posts are copper with copper screws (dafaq?) and it didn't come with a heat sink fin (not that i would use it anyway as I hover toward shorter atties). It just so happened it was the first clone available anywhere when I ordered it (I have a thing/budget for clones, if you couldn't tell). I will be selling it to my buddy this week who cares not for quality, but for not dumping juice everywhere when he drips. I will be purchasing a higher quality clone shortly.

Thanks for the comparison pics. I just tried the aeolus on my smpl with and w/o the heat sink and the button sticks out a mm or 2. I've seen pics of people using the aeolus and smpl and have had the button sit flush. Could it be qc?

Yeah so have i, thats why i said that myself. I coulda swore i saw people doing that. They either shaved the pin down, which would be what i would do and wouldn't take but a few seconds or they werent showing the button. All the pics ive seen never showed the button, only that it was that specific setup.
