When they start selling the 510 threaded versions, I will be using them with my Grand (slight modification needed). The Vortex's work wonderfully on the Grand even with an adapter.

They're not too shabby on a regular KR808D-1 battery either, but bottom feeding and 6 volts makes them work wonderfully for me.

You're right - they're like the Vortex at gotvapes.com. I love'em on the REO. With a slight modification, they hit like a train :)

I'm not sure, but the look like the vortex available at gotvapes dot com

You wouldn't be able to feed them with a REO unless you modify the tube IMO

How do you modify them? I'd be interested in tring it out

Wiggle the outer tube off, remove the slimmer tube on the inside, reattach the outer tube.

I don't care for the tight draw when using the Vortex (currently only offered with KR808 threads) with an adapter, so I'm looking forward to trying a G4 with 510 threads on my Grand. The flavor and vapor are great, though.

GP does have the 510 threaded. I just ordered some. Thanks OP for the heads up on these. It was taking GotVapes forever to get them in. I ordered the 808D, also, as I have an adapter.

I've had terrible luck with them. They just can't wick fast enough for use with a 5v. mod. Also the plastic tubes WILL definitely crack, it's just a matter of time. They don't last. I have tried all the mods with these and they still have that nasty burnt taste. Way too much trouble. More hassle than they're worth. My experience using a 5volt mod.

The Vortex cartos are right at 2.8 Ω. At 5 volts, you were vaping with 8.93 watts. That's a bit too much for most folks. I'm currently using a Vortex on a VV battery mod set at approximately 4.40 volts, which is 6.91 watts. It makes a huge difference. Nice flavor, vapor, and throat hit.

Then again, I love vaping my Boge LR cartos right at 8 watts. Go figure.
