Hey, is anyone aware of a thread cleaning tool that does female and male 510 threads? Or tubular mech threads? It's occurred to me that such a thing would be pretty handy to have.
Nylon micro brush + Bar Keepers Friend is all I use for brass, copper, ss and raw aluminum threads. Think interdental brushes. Let the oxalic acid do the cleaning.
Regular wiping with a paper towel to keep the build up of electrolytic corrosion down in the first place. Dish soap and a tooth brush, and or ketchup at bi-weekly intervals.

I use a dish towel wetted with alcohol to clean my mod. I wipe the threads and contacts with a rag or towel every time they are exposed, like at battery change. Old toothbrush and q-tips work great.
