Thread Subscriptions (Can not unsubscribe)

I can not unsubscribe from any thread. It's not a cookies thing as the forum remembers me when I come back.

If I click the unsubscribe link in the email, I still get notifications, if I manually edit subscriptions, I still get notifications.

If I simply do not click the view new post link in a notification email, I should not get another notification, but this does not work either as I still get a notification of reply after approx. 5 additional posts.

It's not a huge deal, but it's a little irksome.

2nd block down, 4th option, there's a thread subscription drop-down box, change that to "Do not subscribe". You can still manually subscribe to threads if you wish.

I had the same thing happen. Check out the links from Tim there ^.... you have to "unsubscribe" from a couple of places. First in your personal preferences/options, then also from all the current and past threads. So if you go to your control panel, it will list all the threads you are currently subscribed to... click through each page, check all, and unsub.
