Threaded RDAs???

So, I've had a phoenix "type" rda for a long time. Say what you will about "cheap" or "shoddy" or even "ugly". IDGAF.

This thing was my first dripper, and my first rda. It's lasted a massive amount of abuse, and always out performed other drippers I have personally tried. What I liked about it most, compared to other drippers I've tried is that the tube THREADS ONTO THE BASE! (and it's usually 9-15 bucks. i'm cheap, don't sue me).

Anywhoo, my phoenix finally got to the point that I couldn't repair it any longer. What I want to know from all you rda dilettantes is are there other RDAs out there with THREADS on the base? I cannot articulate how much I abhor O-ring only seals. I pocket my unit often, and a nimbus/patriot/trident/kraken/whatever comes apart with absolute ease. I need threads. I'd also like to get something prettier at some point, since I'll have the money to do that.


TL;DR-

I'm looking for drippers that have a threaded seal on the base. I *had* a phoenix. Going to buy another. What else is there?

The magma, and the asmodus has a pin that screws in to prevent the base from dislodging from the topcap. But asmodus is a 26650 RDA.

Hobo V2 looks SICK, great build deck, airflow options, threaded like you want, customization options, and it's not taller than some houses like tanks or the Doge, or some of the other rather tall RDA's I've been seeing lately. They're ~$90 I believe.

that's neat looking. Anyone tried it? It looks like the airflow comes from above the coil/side of coil.

That's the one I've not picked one up yet, but I do plan on it. I hear nothing but good things, including great customer support from the modder.

The Hobo is my next atty. It's going to take a while for the clone to come out and I haven't been able to find the authentic.

If you need something now I would recommend the Magma, the cap screws into the base and it vapes like a champ. Most people consider it the best flavor RDA around. You can get the Infinite version for around 22 bucks, I would recommend spending the extra 5 bucks, it's worth it.

My origen hasn't ever come apart in my pockets.. I even have afc orings removed, and it is hard to pull off...but my drill turned it into a NON-AFC atty. I honestly think my magma would come unscrewed before my origen cap comes off...and I have one o-ring removed from the base.

Hobo v2 is my next atty..it looks like it'll be the only that could replace my origen... I've tried a few atomizers...

The hobo looks nice, sold out everywhere.

I ended up getting a good deal on a 3D, but the reservoir feature is a little lacking.

Hell yeah...I just clicked in the video to see what the deck is...it looks like it'll be easily modded for stupidly wide airflow.

Don't know if it's a dripper or tank.. don't care. I'm just going to order one and be surprised when it gets here..
