threading issues

so i have a glv2 5 volt 510 and the threads just dont seem to hold a carto like they used to, if i drop it, the carto will instantly pop out, and its somewhat difficult to screw it back in without actually using an allen key to unscrew the bottom thing then rescrew it to the point that it will fire, then i can just sort of just bend it to pop it back out...does anyone else have this issue, and is there a way to fix it without sending it back in and being without my glv for several weeks?

im actually using a 510-510 adapter right now with a tank

we are caught up so the wait wont be long to send it back..... I can replace the threads now. in the mean time a small piece of tinfoil should hold it in place for a few miles. call me , lets get it fixed for you.

mine is very simular, it will rock back and forth till the last quarter of a turn when it finally tightens up and holds. it's been getting worse. What's the price tag on a fix?

Actually my first GLV SM was the same, the threads were never right, seemed too big an opening and I can not get a carto or extension to fit. My second GLV SM is perfect, so I think I need to send my first one back to get it fixed too I have just been putting it off! LOL bnrk
