threading keeps stripping

Hello I have this problem with my tanks, basically after about 1-2 months the threading on the connector between the battery and tank gets stripped. I have had to but 3 tanks now but it just keep happening and i have no idea why.

Could be you are trying to tighten them down too much. Also, aluminum and brass threads won't last as long.

I don't know--and can't ask you here--what kind of tanks you're using; I have never experienced stripped threads on a tank after a couple of months.

I agree with tmcase--don't over tighten, don't unscrew them unless you really have to to refill, or get a simple airflow control device (made by Smoktech):

Just screw your tank into the controller and leave it there. If you have to remove the tank from the battery, unscrew the controller and not the tank to protect the tank's threading.
