Threading question

I always was under the impression that 510 was the standard, but now that I want to branch out a bit, it seems that ego is more. I was trying to get a evod or protank, and when I can find them, it seems that they are all ego. Now, I realize that ego is the outer threading (cone) but that doesn't necessarily mean that it will fit my itaste mvp (I dunno which version I have) and it defiantly won't fit my X2 from smokeless image.

Hmmm.....more adapters in my future?
