I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that.

I never would have guessed that I'd simply drop the demon sticks so quickly once starting down the vapour trail. Haven't had a stinky for two days now and it wouldn't have even dawned on me if I hadn't made myself think about it. I'm gonna take the "Days without a cigarette" calender off of the wall so I can imagine I never smoked those damnable things at all. My only problem right now is what to do with all the cigarettes I still have on hand. I can no longer even think about giving them away. That's like gifting someone a live hand-grenade!

Thanks for all the great advice and help folks. Happy vapour trails to all of you.

When I got my first kit - I smoked what I thought was my last pack along with vaping. 6cigs on day one & 3cigs for the last 3 or 4 days & then it was all vaping without looking back. Unbenounced to me, I located a brand new pack of stinkies in my work truck under my seat. With my surprise & shock - I handed them over to a co-worker. I think it's better to limit your access to the stinkies. There will be days when the systems fail & the discouragement will have you thinking about the stinkies. Examples - a failed cartomizer, dead or lost battery at work, harsh taste from a clogged cartomizer, a dead or burnt out atty etc. Don't ever be too discouraged, its all just part of the process that most will experience. Keep in there, the rewards outshine the setbacks. my 2c

woohoo truenorthist! It sure does feel good once you get past the "real thing" craving. I was pretty lucky myself finding the switch to vaping totally painless and craving free. I smoked for 27 years and I know there is no way I could have done it without ecigs. Next month will be a year of vaping for me :). Its great to hear you are coming along nicely with it all!

Congrats True! I always love hearing stories about how easy making the switch was :) One of my favorite parts of the vaping journey was a few months in when I'd completely forgotten what cigarettes tasted like and one night I was at some friends house and light one up for ....s and giggles (needless to say I had drank a bit too much) and it almost made me gag! I knew then and there that I was done for cigarettes for the rest of my life, there was just no going back!

Sweet deal! I quit the same day I got my 510 in the mail from Happy jack! I was so impressed with it, the flavor and th were amazing. I swore that day I vaped for 20hours straight.

Great news man! It took me a lot longer to kick the stix, but once I found a set-up that worked for me there was no turning back. Now I need to start lowering my nic levels....does it ever end..lol.

If I can offer any advice...Always have backup for your main needs (atties/carts, batteries, chargers and juice). It's not a question of if they will fail, it's when. If you ever feel that it's not working for you anymore then start trying out some mods. My Variable Voltage device was a real game changer for me when my 510 starter kit just wasn't cutting it anymore.

One week today and zero desire to drag out a torch. It will take some doing to not start proselytizing everywhere I go. I hitched a ride on a neighbour's dog-team yesterday for a trip across the ice-floes to pick up more sqeeze and babbled on for almost an hour, praising the virtues of e-cigs non-stop and clearly drove my good friend to the brink of homicide. But I have checked that urge a little today. Hard to not become a fanatic.
