No idea, myself, but I *have* heard that for a cigalike, the Mark10's are very good. I have enough vape gear now that "if worse comes to worst" is very unlikely, but I squirrel away trivia like this, just for that day when "worse comes to worst" actually comes to pass and I have to buy a cigalike to keep from buying cigarettes. The reason I have almost 5 months instead of almost a year is because of a very misguided "I'll just smoke a little, for a week or so" back in the summer which turned into nearly a pk a day for a month. I learned my lesson: no more cigarettes, ever.

And all those cigarette-bums should take the advice I gave my old neighbor when he kept pestering me even AFTER I quit: 'QUIT SMOKING OR GET A JOB!'

It's been a year for me now and I really do feel like a non-smoker. I remember picking up my daughter at the train station for Christmas last year about a week after making the vaping discovery. It was all I could think (and talk) about, but now it's just my way of life. I don't really think about whether it will get me to quit smoking at all anymore. In fact I find it hard to even remember being a (yuck) smoker.

I still find it hard to believe -- and absolutely positively amazing -- that I'm NOT a smoker any longer. 5 months compared to 39 yrs is an eyeblink.

The other day, in the mail, I received some coupons from Virginia Slims -- which used to elicit wild cheering and jubilation. I just smiled -- and threw them in the trash. :D Free at last!

Yes, it is a good feeling. Just the other day I was at the mall doing some last minute shopping, and the one place I can vape inside, is by the Greensmoke booth. I always respect the business, and if anyone asks me, I will refer to their products even though I don't use any of theirs. This booth also has a few mechs and standard ego's, so I can talk freely. But an Army recruiter was walking by and started asking about the ecigs. When I told him I still had my last pack, which was about two years old, he was like "you should give that pack to me, these things(cigarettes) are expensive". Even after I told them they'd be all dry and stale, he was still saying he'd smoke it.

That got me thinking... I remember those times, and yes, I probably would've smoked it. I guess cigarette smokers aren't as concerned about taste than they are getting their fix. For me, I am usually easy going when it comes to flavors, but I've thrown away a few juices just because of the taste. I can't recall throwing away ANY cigarettes.

Lord, I did. I went thru a phase, for a while, of looking for the cheapest cigarettes whose taste I could tolerate; for a while I bought them online from native Americans, then when I couldn't buy them online anymore, I used to buy some cheapies called "Private Stock" from the Starvin' Marvin that was at the corner of hwy 20 and 316 (where there's now an offramp! Yay! they finally finished it!!) But, although those cigarettes weren't too bad when I first started smoking them -- or else I never would have kept buying them -- after a while they started tasting... like pickles. I can't describe it any better than that. I don't mind the taste of a good dill pickle... but cigarettes should absolutely never taste like them. I think I threw away about half a carton. That was when my husband and I arranged that if I could hold myself to one pk a day, I could go back to buying the 'spensive kind -- Virginia Slims, natch. :D That was probably about 15 yrs ago. Finding just the right taste in ejuice was crucial to me; if I hadn't found that Virginia at MyFreedomSmokes, I wouldn't have been successful with vaping, because I have to like the taste of anything I taste, or I have no desire to taste it. Now of course I don't even like that Virginia anymore, and have upwards of 60ml left of it. *sigh* Maybe I can give it away, but if not, then it'll be thrown away.

That is an awesome feeling.

Walking out of the library the other day, I had to walk through a crowd of hobos. (The library is a public place, and it's cold, so lots of homeless guys hang out there during the day to stay warm until the bus comes to take them to the shelter in the evenings) They aren't allowed to smoke within 15 feet of the door, so they all congregate on this little side ledge by the steps in between going in to warm up. Usually, when you walk through or past them, they'll follow you wanting cigarettes or money. I was vaping and I guess blew a cloud behind me, and this guy comes running after me hollering "Ma'am! Ma'am!? Can I get one of them cigarettes off you?" It was pretty hilarious the look on his face when I turned around holding my pv, blew another cloud of vapor, and said "I don't smoke."

Still carry a lighter in my purse, though, because you never know. The zombie apocalypse could happen, and I'd hate to be caught without portable fire.
